Hi, I'm Donna. Having dabbled in most crafts, in the last few years I have moved towards papercrafts and, with the exception of spending time with my grandchildren, I love nothing more than making cards and 3D projects.

Santa Claus Gift Bag
I love how this bag turned out. Easy to make and resize this would be great decorated for anything Christmas, (or in any way come to think of it) but it's Christmas in July so think Christmas Pudding, Elf or Mrs Claus.

Easel Display Gift Box

This is a great bag. So pleased you came up with it. I’m definitely going to give it a go nearer to Christmas. I made the mistake of using metallic card for some similar bags I made last year that looked like Christmas baubles. I got in a mess with the glue as well😂. I was later given a tip that it can be removed with a little essential oil carefully dabbed on with a cotton bud before it dries, but I’ve not tried it yet myself❤❤❤

Great box. I like the fastening idea but it looks like it needs to be made from a thicker card or maybe thin metal. Thanks for sharing your bag and box-making ideas; they are my favourite things to make❤❤❤
Yes absolutely, although I did layer up the card it doesn't help that its a relatively small piece of cardstock and I don't think the metallic cardstock helps as it wrinkles when you bend it and makes it seem more flimsy, if that makes sense. I do like the idea of the fastening so will see if I can come up with a more substantial solution. Thank you for the positive feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

Yes you did well with persevering. Some times, when things go wrong for me, I find I just have to leave it for a while then when I go back, it seems to come together quite quickly! x

The tea caddy is cute, it would be better if you used a lighter color paper with a patteren. I couldn't tell if I was using the right side until you started putting it together.

That is a pretty and a good size box 👌 alittle confusing on how to do the panels but worth figuring it out,
I do try to keep things as simple as possible and explain things clearly but if that is not the case on any elements on this project, apologies - I appreciate the feedback.

What a great design for a clutch gift bag. I don’t think I would do the design you did only because it would not come out as neat as yours did😂. And I like the idea of a handle. I would like to see this in a larger size also. Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous bag! To me, it has a sort of country and western due to the stencilled decoration and patch pockets. Adding the handle would complete the look and I think it would look great in all sorts of papers, especially if it was slightly larger. Tfs❤❤❤

@@DonnaDawkins thanks for your response. I’ve followed Sam since she first started on CZcams and love her 3D designs. But, now she has her own range of craft products, she doesn’t do much 3D stuff any more. I don’t like the over-fussy cards that she does now, requiring dedicated, expensive dies; I prefer clean and simple cards if I need to make a card. Your designs are lovely and it’s nice to have found someone who is willing to share their creativity 😊
