Antelope hunting is incredibly versatile-it can be as challenging as you want and is always a blast, no matter the weapon. This was my second time hunting antelope with a handgun, and it proved to be more thrilling than my first experience. Watch as I navigate the highs and lows of the hunt, including a crucial lesson learned from a missed shot. Spoiler: I discovered the importance of tightening up my trigger for a more successful hunt.
For this hunt, I used a 7mm-08 Remington XP handgun, which I customized extensively. Equipped with a pic rail and Burris Optics 3-12x scope, along with a custom-fit grip, a sling stud/bipod, and a hydro-dipped stock, this rig turned out to be a half-MOA performer after some fine-tuning and finding the perfect Hornady SST bullets.
