    clusters dauntless into a ball >the stupid dauntless are turning around gee I wonder why :P the empress died to body bloking if you aim at something and the projectiles clip pass something it will do damage to its hp without shooting at the hardpoints so theres no overkill and you can see how much damagestuff actually does

    If you just select all sacheens when they are shooting and getting close and tell them to stop they will only shoot from their longer range guns Same foe everyoneelse Probably a few will still die since theres so.manh and pathing is hard but it helps a lot

      Really? I thought one of the big selling points of the new one was that it was a graphical improvement. I haven't really looked into it that much though, to be honest, I just saw the reviews that said it wasn't much better overall, gameplay wise, and decided I didn't want to spend the money.

    Persuader is the actual name the slang is snail tank You saw that aac bombing run? That passed right over your av turrets by the se sor tower It is hard to align but that's what I meant in another video for having anti air I'm places the ai will have to pass thru And nah the at ap is like that in fotr it has limited turn the big big gun is on the chasis the at te has more range of motion but still can't shoot behind

      I knew about the Persuader and Snail Tank names, but, for some reason, I just thought they had a third name as well, though I must be thinking of something else. I didn't really think to build AA there, but I really should have, you're right, though I also didn't expect to last long enough for them to be relevant. About the AT-AP: I didn't explain very well in the episode, but I meant that when I gave the unit a direct order to attack something that wasn't directly in front of it, it would only use the turret and wouldn't turn the whole chassis, while in FOTR, I thought it would. But I might be misremembering.

    OMG! This player could not be more WRONG! Fact! At most, you can only sell 25 copper per year, while none of the copper mines are where they should go which is the untouched copper ore rocks NW of those already placed. Incidentally, those 8 mines should be used for gold, thereby producing 800 Debens each month = 9,600 Debs per year. You can only fit 4 copper mines, a more than ample enough, NW of where those in this video are. By the way, 4 copper mines produce 16 bars of copper in 5 months. Thereby giving you an annual yield of 36 copper. To that, you only need warships to deal with all of the sea invasions and 6 towers to deal with the added 1 infantry soldier invasion. That is 1 as in 1 soldier and just 1 infantry invasion. Since straw can only be imported by sea, while you need to fulfil an early request for 2 x meat, the mastaba should be positioned inside and 3 tiles (press 'G' on your keyboard to bring up a helpful grid) to the left of the '/' Kingdom road and 3 tiles above the lower section of the Kingdom road. Someway below that you need to produce a 12 X 4 circuit for the production of bricks and below that clay pits and the initial ferry crossing to the SW area that has the copper deposits on it. With that in mind, the mastaba has to be built before you produce pottery, otherwise clay from where the brickworks are situated can and will be delivered to the potters and vice versa. NB. If you sleep the ferry crossing on the mastaba side, you won't be able to sell copper or granite, for the plain and simple fact that there is no way back to the Kingdom road for the 'Buhen' trader. Another thing I discovered is, there were only 3 points where you could place a 100% active shipwright.

      Okay, first of all, I think you'll find that I absolutely CAN be more wrong. So, chill out. Second, all that information you've shared is very helpful, but I've been playing this blind and figuring things out as I go, so I'm not going to be able to do anything optimally, and I'm going to be making mistakes. Third, even if I did know all of that, I'm not *trying* to play optimally, I'm trying to play in a way that I find fun and build things in a way that I think makes sense for an actual city in this time period. I'm not exactly RPing, but I'm trying to lean in that sort of direction. You're more than welcome to let me know how to do better, but just know that what I'm trying to do here doesn't involve trying to do anything perfectly. And lastly, I am *not* trying to tell anyone anything about how to play the game: this is a let's play, not a guide, and if someone is looking for that kind of thing, then they're in the wrong place. All that being said, I do appreciate all of that information, and I'm glad you stopped by, I just wanted you to know where I'm coming from here!

    So on the topic of guns Turbolasers do 20 30, 40 base for a single barrel And then everytime it gets a second barrel it does double so a light dual does the same a sa heavy and more than a medium This happens everytime a gun battery has more barrels There's also how much shield types deter but that's a fast and easy way to get a handle on Ions are 15, 22.5 and 30 for light medium and heavy and scale the same and always do the same damage to shields I don't have the exact numbers on the bakura vs Vic 2 but this should be all that's needed for the comparison

    The rakehell is a modified soranan battlecruiser Zsinj has the generic version The exF has more shields than a Bellator SSD almost as fast as an ISD (who are the fastest capital ships barong one or two hand ships) and has a lot of ion damage made to brawl Its a monster, whoever captures nzoth first in the campaign geta ir for free

      @@aldarant nah just rakehell Its not a criticism so much as a comment but the default view cam already skews player perception or ranges in space and you even exagerate that angle more Its very cinematic but it makes ranges harder to tell, on ground it's still the basegame angle by default and that is a better way to gauge distance I always set it like that in space. Soranan are like probably the strongest battlecruisers after praetor twos and are well balanced the exF is that but souped up bonebrs is always the way to go against large ships

      @@aldarant From my experience in the Thrawn’s Revenge mod, you need to build high-tech capital ships, as the AI throws more of them at you rather than corvettes.

      @@Roblox.News-WithRaman Interesting... What version are you most familiar with? Because I thought they had changed it so that the AI uses much more diverse fleets in 3.3, and what I've seen so far has been at least reasonably diverse fleets.

      @@aldarant I am using the most current version. Not sure if it’s a thing where AI differs in each campaign, but I’m playing my current map on Cruel Admiral and face a fleet with at least 2-3 Star Destroyers every time. Corvettes just get blown up if I ever add them to my ranks! 😭

    Note regarding the music: When I started to put music into these episodes, I found a site that had all of the music from The Old Republic and - not wanting to download literally everything all at once - I just grabbed a couple ambient tracks to start with. Unfortunately, all The Old Republic music has been removed from that site and - as it turns out - the ambient tracks in particular are REALLY hard to find anywhere else. Ambient music is the kind that I would much prefer to use in these episodes - I feel like it fits best with my style of videos - but I was only able to get two of them before they were removed from the site. So, if anyone happens to know where I can find the rest of the ambient tracks for The Old Republic, would you kindly let me know? I'd appreciate it.

    May I offer ground combat opinion on the endor battle? you had 17k moneys and there were a lot of turret spots you didnt build spread the starting infantry more to catch pads and landing zones, you even missed some on the base! t1b are anti air they got flak its a ood idea to have one on shield or power gen duty, at like the 41:00 mark you see how a mesed up one took almost no shield damage from a flamer, it died because the hand has rocket bikes if you have that building set up again make some infantry its cheap and can make the ai take a bit longer to attack, if you cant fit heavy and light factories ship units form other worlds to that planet to hold bombing runs come from the exact oposite side of the map to their target, use this knowledge to plan ahead, if im gonna hold forward here the enemy bombers are probably going to come out around X here over my abse so anti air here will likely hit them on the way to me

      Okay, first off, a quick note: when watching the video, *you* can see how money we have, but, because of the size of my monitor and the game resolution, *I* cannot see the very bottom of the game, so I can't tell how much we have. That, combined with the fact that I *cannot* easily remember numbers, means that I've been quite cautious about spending money in tactical. However, I've recently realized that I can just check my recording software to see that, so I should be better about this in future. Now, regarding that specific battle on Endor: I went into it intending not to spend very much; I only wanted to do enough damage to slow them down and give our other forces more time to respond. Although, in hindsight, I do think it would have been better to put money into turrets rather than attempting field bases. As for the T1-b's: I've definitely been underestimating how good they are at AA; I'm still thinking of them like when I used them in Phoenix Rising where their AA was not really great. Also, I generally don't want to spent any credits on anything other than more ships and infrastructure if I can help it. I would rather give up a planet temporarily and then retake it with a full fleet, then get bogged down in a long, protracted ground battle where we might spent thousands of credits and end up with nothing to show for it. On Endor, I didn't think there was any way of actually holding it. Finally, bombing runs: I know it's commonly said that they come from the exact opposite of the map, or that they take the longest route, but I don't think that's actually the case. As far as I can tell, what the game does is it draws a straight line, starting at the point you want to bomb, then to the *center* of the map, then to the edge. The bombers then follow this line from the edge, through the center, to the target. The reason I think this is because I've never seen a bombing run that didn't pass through the center, even on maps that are very long and thin or wide and short. Thanks for the comment! This sort of back-and-forth is how we get better in future, so I appreciate you taking the time!

      @@aldarant yeah you got most things right in space and such I play on windowed mode so I can always see the credits idk what your resulolution is but okay around see what it works On bombing runs yeah the exact opposite side of the map is right but It still has to / target Thr idea is plan accordingly when anti air is concerned you'd be surprised how many people try to rewct to bombers when they ARE IN SHOOTING DISTANCE of the target and try to clumsily move a clusterfuck of units then blame the units or ground combat As a whole I recommend several planets dedicated to one production building each then ship units as needed if you hold off endor on ground the ai will not push put of there inwards ground defense is undereated ans the last defense to your territory specially with how defense driven is that map Avoid selecting too.many units and moving as one this is how pathing issues happen Anti air is always ticklish because it depends on the health (some gunships are rather Tanky) and speed of units (a LOT of speeders zoom by) but yeah just play around and ehenever you lose ask yourself why that's how you get good at anything

    its the rendili building that discounts RSDs think of them as lighter isd1 with the 2's big side guns, they will lose a 1v1 vs a one and get destroyed by the isd 2, this is because it lacks ions it only has two but pure turbo laser? it shoots a lot to just delete smaller things just like the isd 2 deletes anything it can reliably hit and its decently durable the nebula is also super shooty but way more frail these 2 and the mc 90 can sorta all compliment each other

      @@aldarant yeah the RSD is one favorite of mine it is great just don't expect it to last against the isds that have similar or more firepower and more shields, paired with say dauntless and liberators for cheap on sullust thats nearby is an option you could do :P

    flames are less effective vs shields but it was like 50 shields vs 10 flaming tanks shooting like 12 flames per burst each like a company of freerunners would have probably held that until the medium tanks pushed the balance of thte battle (freerunners could also come on top on equal numbers vs those ) great hold the hand is fun to fight because they are really damaging and fast

      Interesting... I guess I was just underestimating how many flame tanks there were. And speaking of Freerunners, I *really* need to remember to actually order some of those.

      @@aldarant Ive seen them et nerf after nerf lol they used to be even stronger and have aoe on the guns, hell in .3 they made them heavy factory vehicles finally, short of a pait of shield piercing long range units or really far direct fire turbolaser like zsinj arty they can fight anything well enough, run back from anything too scary and regain shields so even without a repair station they can last a LONG time and yeah flames aren't super effective vs shields but its best to not underestimate them

    Welp, I *did* manage to add music from The Old Republic to this one, unfortunately I also ran in to several issues with getting this out to CZcams: First, the render failed - don't know why - my internet was mostly non-functional for about three days, and when I was finally able to start the upload the first time it just stopped at about 87% and I had to restart. So, if anyone is wondering why this was late, well, that's why. And I feel like there's a good chance a few other videos will be late moving forward, because this really threw off my groove. Anyway, hope everyone is doing better than I am, and hope you enjoy the video!

    Hey m8! If you want some music in your thrawn's revenge playthrough.....I could recommend music from Star wars the old republic game.Plenty of people play those on their playthroughs.

      So, I've actually considered using that music - and I suppose I still could - but the reason I haven't is because CoreyLoses used to use the Knights of the Old Republic music in his videos, which was fine for a long time, then all of a sudden it started getting copyright claimed. He has switched to using The Old Republic music, and it does seem fine, but I'm concerned that it will start getting copyright claimed in future, and, because my channel is so small, I want to avoid any potential copyright issues.

      @@aldarant Well...since Mickey Mouse doesn't really consider TOR as canon anymore (I obviously don't care even if they don't) and the games weren't even made by them,I think it would be pretty suffice to say that they can't seriously claim TOR as their rightful property either.

    Yes, the skipped some letters there, some units do have x-tra upgrades, it used to be more, but to lower the strain on the computer the amount of upgrades have been tuned down somewhat. So the unit gets the first 4 upgrades, and if they had more before they re did the upgrade thing, they also get that what used to be the final upgrade. Think the highest now is upgrade 7? Not so sure, could be 5.

    I like your series so far, but I would recommend recruiting and replacing a couple heroes, building boarding shuttles, and electing new political leaders as they offer different bonuses, and one of them actually replaces the home one type with the Bulwark type battle cruisers that you have been looking for. I really admire your tactics and the fact that you are thinking strategically rather than just spamming, and I hope that you will consider using the new Imperial and Republic cannon units in the future because they add a little bit more flavor to the series. I can not wait for more, and 45 to an hour seems like a good episode length.

      I'm going to start doing more with the heroes and political leaders in the next couple of episodes - to be honest, I keep forgetting they're even a thing. Definitely want to try out the boarding shuttles, but they're quite expensive, so I want to wait 'til we have at least two full strength fleets before using them. As for the Cannon units: my intention with this campaign is to try to stick as close as I can to the Legends timeline, so I'm not using anything from Cannon. I appreciate the comment, thank you!

    Click the grey cog symbol in the left screen if your and click “ canon unit “ and then recruit Hera for the StarHawk , conquer Bakura, Mandolore and Balmore for special influence unit and build SRV-1 cuz they are a mobile healing turret

    First off, I just have to say that not being able to use Star Wars music in these is really hurting my soul. I've considered using something else, but nothing I've found feels right, so I guess we'll just continue without any music. Secondly, for the past few weeks I've had a combination of internet issues and finding recording time issues, so - for now, at least - this series is going to be once a week on Saturday, and Pharaoh is going to be once a week on Wednesday. I will try to up production as much as I can, but I can make no promises.
