I'm no hockey player, so answer me this: Why didn't Backstrom come out from the net to challenge Kane once it appeared he was slowing down? Even if only to poke-check the puck away, it might have forced Kane to end his move early and take a shot. Great goal, but is there a reason he was allowed to go for so long before shooting?

Kane has that puck on a string, lol never seen a goalie lose his jock as bad as that!
