Here are the timestamps in the video of the different steps on how to make sweet heat reaper pulled pork sandwiches:
Step 1: Trim the meat 01:32
Step 2: Brine the meat 03:15
Step 3: Dry & Season the meat 08:35
Step 4: Smoke the meat 14:54
Step 5: Wrap the meat & slow cook it 19:40
Cooking time for this Boston Butt:
6 hours in smoker at 170 degrees
4 hours wrapped in foil with apple juice at 240-250 (next time I may try 5 hours at 225)
This is one of my favorite homemade pulled pork sandwich recipes.
In this cooking tutorial video I try my best to show you all the steps involved in making pulled pork. Everything from trimming the fat off your pork, brining your pork, seasoning your pork and finally smoking and slow cooking your pork so you are left with pull and fall off the bone pulled pork sandwiches.
If you are new to the Red White & Blue Outdoors CZcams channel I suggest hitting that subscribe button for more cooking tutorials. We also have fishing and hunting tutorial videos in the works!
How to make pulled pork is something I've struggled with a lot in the beginning. All the tutorials on cooking pork and how to make pulled pork were always fast and not detailed enough. So hopefully my pulled pork recipe and video instructions on making pulled pork will help some of you out that were in my same position in the beginning.
There are many different ways on how to make pulled pork. There's no one way to brine, season and smoke your pork and make juicy fall off the bone pulled pork. This is currently my favorite way to make pulled pork sandwiches and these are the RWBoutdoors Sweet Heat Reaper pulled pork sandwiches!

WAY WAY too much screen & mouse movements for almost TEN minutes. Gave me vertigo and reminded me of a toiling Powerpoint presentation from the 1990s. Yet highly informative if you can weather the storm.

Wow just found this channel. You sound like Heiko. Didn't know you have 3 channels. Congratulations on that. Although i live in Tennessee now I'm closer to Florida. I am a California native fishing occasionally in the Pacific ocean, surf and charters. All my life I've fished fresh water for trout in the Sierra Nevada mountains. My husband and I plan on coming to Florida within the next few months so the more knowledge I can get the better. We probably will be going on a charter or two. We have a 16' boat but don't know if we would put it in salt water, maybe in Lake Okachobe. Anyway I'll be watching this channel in addition to your other channels. Love all your enthusiasm and insight in sharing.❤

Very informative. I'm from the PNW and am planning a trip to S FL, possibly March 2023. I've fished in FL a couple times but it's been a while. This time I'm planning to get a boat for a couple days and DIY it. Thank you for the tips. How about fly fishing options in addition to your patch reef tutorial?

How deep should you begin looking for patch reefs because they seem to be abundant as soon as you go east even a half mile out in 20-30 ft but all I ever catch there is grunts galore

I grew up in Hollywood fishing Islamorada, Marathon but live in Atlanta. I make it down every couple of years to fish and always get a back country guide, a bridge Tarpon guide but this year in April we are coming down to rent a house (somewhere) preferably on a canal, rent a CC boat for the week and venture out to the patch reefs. This is helpful and appreciated!!

Great video! Any tips for fishing Tavernier in mid summer? I'm under the impression that the fish move to deeper water. How deep? Should I focus more on the bay side to do some flats fishing? Will be there on vacation in mid June. Any advice would be great. Awesome video!!

If the seas are flat, do you think it's safe to run my 12ft skiff out to some patch reefs? Never been to the keys and am planning a trip for this summer, if the patch reefs aren't a good idea I'll just stick to the back country
