My dad, Major Frederick O. Blair flew 20 missions out of Port Moresby, late 1943, early 1944, I think..Bombadier. Had schrapnel in the bones of his left hand. Puple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross. Met and married my Mother in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺-Thos plane, and the ability to catch a flight on one is pretty much over, after the airshow loss last year. It even has the oxygen bottles! His plane was "Old Baldy" and they damned near blew it up when a bomb got hung on the release straps. My dad sat on it, near that catwalk, holding it so the trigger didnt get smashed flying back to base. There is a story out there, of the "adventure" - titled "Trouble on Old Baldy" i think...

These are cases are still awesome, 10 Years Gone. Best part of the video? The canera zoom right near the end! I thought I was deep into a Stanley Kubrick classic for a moment. A very (very) brief moment, but there it is! Inspired.
