Thank you for watching! We thought the drinks package was worth it. Especially when you look at the individual prices of drinks. Plus it takes away the worry of what you’re spending each day. It worked well for us!

It was really warm the whole time. Tenerife especially!

Hey!! Working my way through your vlogs as we are doing the same cruise in sept this year , cannot wait! It will be our first time cruising ! So I'm watching some vlogs to get some hints and tips. Are you allowed to take snacks a drinks back onboard with you ? Did you get the drinks package, if so, was it worth it? Any regrets ? Thanks so much and congrats on the engagement !!

@@justsoph7312 Thanks so much for watching! We did get some snacks and drinks from the various ports, but nothing too adventurous. There’s so much included food on offer on Anthem. We did get the deluxe beverage package. It’s pricey, but definitely well worth the money. The cocktails are great, as is the selection of beers and wines. A lot better financially than buying them one by one. Regrets? I really don’t think so! Make sure you check the cruise compass each day to make sure you don’t miss out on activities you want to do. Sometimes they’re not repeated later in the cruise. Most importantly, just do what you want to do. Don’t feel pressured into doing what everyone else is doing. It’s your cruise and you can make the most of it your way! PS Make sure you try the Lava Flow cocktail. It’s amazing!

When it’s good, it’s good. When it’s bad, it’s awful! 🤣

It’s nice as a first stop to ease you in slowly. Lots of small local gift shops and nice places to walk. Plus there are lots of excursions available you can check out too. We Will Rock You is phenomenal. A must-do on Anthem!

Born on the outskirts of London and then lived in Bournemouth since I was a toddler. So there’s a weird London/Dorset thing going on 🤣

She was due to have one in 2020 but it got postponed for obvious reasons. I haven't heard of a refurbishment in her near future, although she is being replaced by Independence Of The Seas in 2025 for the Southampton departures. Anthem then heads to Alaska. Maybe they'll squeeze one in at that point.

We're not experts by any means! But obviously weather conditions will be massively different. Lots of warm clothes needed, and make sure on a sea day you get a spot in the solarium or indoor pool nice and early. Do as many of the shows as you can - We Will Rock You and Spectra's Cabaret are both amazing. For a more in-depth look at that specific cruise check out 'Views And Queues' on CZcams. They did that same cruise on Anthem last year and go really in depth :)

By the end of the cruise we ate in main dining for breakfast and dinner a lot. You don’t see it a lot as we didn’t film a lot in the main dining room. We felt it was a little intrusive for people wanting some peace compared to Windjammer.
