Suprised there’s no upgraded fuel pump or upgraded trans coolers/lines. Re5’s don’t like much boost haha
There is both of those things the owner has them going in
Something will break like that with hard connections
They are widely setup like this in race cars
No rubber hoses between the turbo and intercooler?
It flex’s a fair bit. Those clamps are made to have a decent amount of movement it’s not a solid thing
wish we could of heard it
Soon hopfully
Brother do you know where the y-pipe/intake was sourced?cheers
Yeah. Ryan David green He’s a member in the Nissan patrol tb 48 turbo supercharged group
@@FavroPerformance thank you brother
Where you guys located
Central coast NSW
Can we get more info on that intake manifold?
cool car boys
Awesome video made, thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing 🔥
On ya legend, thoroughly enjoyed the full video, including the rude mug. Looking forward to the next update. Love you long time.
Nice work mate. Awesome video. Looking forward to seeing it finished ✅

Yeah I admit I’m not very good on camera. But I’ll get better hopefully with more time in front of it.
Pete, maybe you should do a video so we see how good you are?
Dear Petejone961 with 2 Subscribers, it's nice to call out others online for creating content, where as it seems in both your videos they must be muted, as i didn't hear a word you said. Kind regards. Scott.
LOL, my IC is same size and chopped none of the supports and still have coolers in there as well. I will let you dwell on that. While you are there, replace the front body mounts as looking at the rust you have on the rails, I'll bet the mount bolts are shagged. Fix the rust and pait the rails.
Nice job guys, makes me want to put one in my LN65
Gangsta, keen as to suck some birds out the sky
Offt! 👍👍
Onli m57❤
Impressive! What axle are you putting in?
How much would you charge for one of these swaps?
Email us and I can shoot you a quote. 🤘
Silly question : when on full droop is there anything other than the shocks to control the droop stop?... BTW AWESOME WORK, loved the videos 😁👍🇦🇺
Na nothing but the shock. However it’s not designed for sand dune jumping so going full droop shouldn’t be fast at all
Which car is solid axle from?? Do you have to swap the transfer case as well?
Don't put bloody Ford rubbish on a Toyota son that should be a lesson learnt 😉🍻👍
Hahaha very true
Should of SAS it
It will self clearance 😆
Fix and resell to png
What did you end up using for the dash ??
Haltech IC-7 with 3D printed surround.
So good mate
you can get rid of the torque rod now, not needed with a hi steer just gets in the way and limits flex.
Hi guys would li,e this done to my ln106 already got the hi steer arms I’m 1kz swapped but it’s a rear sump can we catch up to discuss please shoot me a message cheers
Yeah for sure. Shoot me an email and we can chat. Mitchellfavro@favroperformance.com.au
What are you guys going to do about making it 4wd? Keen to see it
The owner lives far away from us and he already has the right hand drop transfer to slap in her.
Would love to see the finished
Are the engine mounts the same?
dont need torque rod with high steer set up man
KZN 130 surf sump and pick up 🤦
I’ll look into it. Cheers
Exactly what I used, same engine swap to 😊
For the front taleshaft you use the back half of the rear taleshaft when doing rear spring in front
Yeah right. Mad cheers.
No worries, I did it years ago
Sassy
🔥

Hi guys! why dont adapt the oem gearbox? I want do the same, install a 1KD engine but with the oem gearbox
Is it posible to convert a 4x2 N70 to a 4x4 and what would I need... I need help before I start
Yeah you can. The list is large so i can’t answer it in the comments
@@FavroPerformance my main concern is on the actuator... I've done some research on the parts En all I know I can easily get a front diff /front axel with everything in it, the gearbox en the shaft for under R30, 000 here in south Africa (from a donor car of course) En that would make the process pretty much bolt in..... But the actuator that's where the stress is at... Like do I need a whole new harness or there is a separate gearbox / transfer case harness?.... En I'll have to change the claster too for the 4 wheel drive one of course
@@FavroPerformance.
ive swapped a 1kz (japanese import) into my 106, i did it on the original mounts and with 3L transmission g52. the engine is fully mechanical and im using a 3L mechanical pump without a boost compensator. still has a looot of torque especially down low especially with the straight ss 2.5 inch piping and ss snorkel and the hilux has bcome a beast. the gear is handling the torque well. ive freshly painted the car gun metal gray with a powder coated flat tray at the back. its been lifted by 2 inches. fuel economy is quite better now too. cheers from Pakistan: rooftop of the world
Hi Abdul! Have you pictures of your Hilux? I like see your swap. Greetings from Argentina!
