"Want You To Be Free" is about how when you truly love someone, you don't lock them up but set them free, because sometimes fate wants even strongly connected souls to go their own ways
P4ULY: "Even though I'm only 14 years old, I've experienced something like this. And I'm pretty sure there are a lot of people who have felt the same way. So this song is to help all people in situations of self-doubt." The song was written by Christof Straub (himself a multi-gold and platinum singer-songwriter - Papermoon, ZOË, Chris Steger) with the collaboration of P4ULY: "Christof and I both have so much fun making music, it's a shared passion of both of us. So we spent a lot of time playing around in the studio together, with our guitars and a piano. And at some point this song was there - I can't even say exactly how it happened."
