Definitely agree that Other Half makes great beer, especially getting them off the shelf, but there must be a big price difference between NJ and here outside of Philly. Green City is at a minimum $20 a 4 pack, with many of there double ipas going from $25 to $30. I just cant do it for the principle of it. I have got to the register of places and told $30 and have to apologize and bring it back.

Cheers Matt! They posted this on their IG on April 30th. So by the time you had it, it would’ve been about 5-6 weeks old. I bought this at Wegmans and got it for $14.99/4 Which is insane. Most other beer distributors carry this for $19.99/4. I am not sure what this is at the brewery. I am guessing $20 or 21/4 pack.

Drank loads of Spotted Cow when I was in Waukesha Wisconsin at GE MRI Training Center. Man this is a good Beer ! And I am originally from Ireland ! I should Know LOL !!! Really good Beer. Clean and Pure like a good European Beer. One of the 5 best I have drunk in the States ! Easy !!

Maine Beer Co urges stores to keep their bottles cold but some stores ignore that request.

This was the first Helles i’d ever had and i was blown away. I have been trying to find something similar but I can’t. All the other Helles i try are much lighter, lacking the maltiness, honey sweetness and minerality. Any recommendations?

Their best beer by far is “dinner”. My local bottle shop had it on tap a while ago and it was amazing

$17 for a 6 pack? Holy crap, that's pretty steep. Course, I'm from the Midwest.

I can get a pilsner four pack from Great Notion for $11.20, just some perspective.

I saw this at a distributor for $19,99 and could not pull the trigger. As much as I dig these two breweries, I cannot pull the trigger on a $18-20 pilsner. If I am paying that much on a four pack, it has to be a 7% or higher IPA or double IPA.

This is one of the most delectable and luscious stouts I've ever flaved! I've never flaved an oatmeal stout that I didn't thoroughly enjoy-joy, and if I recall, I think Samuel Smith's was the first oatmeal stout I ever had. Everything about it - flavor, texture, bouquet (I refuse to call it a "nose" since yer nose is what you use to sample the bouquet) - is outstanding and enrapturing to at least four of the senses. It looks like a work of art. The sound of the pour is appealing. And the flavor and aroma are absolute top-notch. 2:36 And it tastes exactly like whipped cream with a hint of macchiato and maybe a spattering of nutmeg. 2:44 It's not even a dessert beer, but it has the aroma of one. It's got that molasses-sassy richness of a Whitman's sampler! But not quite so sweet. Plus, I don't know if Whitman's still puts molasses chews in their samplers. Anyway, there are a lot of entrees you can pair it with oatmeal stout, but they'd better be at least somewhat gourmet.

Was just at their brewery in the finger lakes. Beautiful location. Had a flight, all were very good to excellent. Wanted to get some cans to go but their pricing was strange, you could get a 4 pack of any one beer for $16 but a mixed pack or individual cans were $9 per can. Crazy!👎🏻

Local brewers in California always seem to try to hard by making their "Kölsch" too bready or too hoppy or both. It's a delicate style. I have tasted it at the source and it is delicious.

Sounds really tastes, for sure. Spotted Cow was probably the best NG I’ve had.

Which breweries do you feel have fallen off pretty hard?

~~~ Other Half recently showed up on shelves here in Orlando. I thought their DDH Double Citra Daydream was the best I've had. This comes from a self professed NOT BIG IPA GUY. The All Citra Everything was also very good. Just what we need for the 95 (feels like 100) days of summer. Not cheap, but the quality cannot be questioned. Nice review. CHEERS !!! ))))))))))))))
