If people dont want to accept the truth they will use racism as the reason. Stereotypes are created by the majority not the minority in every aspect not just race. When people talk about educating the ignorant, I ask…who is the teacher? Is the teacher the majority or the minority. Unfortunately due to my experience the majority in certain races want to fight first…not educate. As for work place racism. Our parents came to this country and ended up starting a business in one of the most racist parts of England and at one of the hardest times. Back then the corner shop was a white man, the chicken shop was a white man, the dentist was a white man and even the black man was a white man lol😂 But they wanted it so found a way…not an excuse. People now days talk about racism at work and they’re right. If you’re white it’s a lot harder than if you are black. The reason I say black and white let’s face it, it’s because it’s black and white. You don’t hear other races complain because the majority of that minority is the educator. Now I’m Turkish and if anyone says anything bad about my race I will be an educator not a fighter. I won’t complain about lack of opportunity because I will create my own opportunity. This will guarantee be seen as a racist comment by those that dont agree with it and I can also guarantee it’s only the majority that would respond and not the minority…creating stereotypes.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A very sensitive and a very important topic you have discussed. As a person who experienced similar situation as a kid but fortunately didn’t go through what you have Mem. May be because I experienced it in Cyprus, in Lurucina I don’t know. I hated it, I too hated my dad for it as much as I loved him. DV is unfortunately a common thing in our community and people in the past considered it as being normal. The man always had the “right” to do whatever. No one would interfere and as you said in your podcast it was a shame to get divorced. People would just keep living with it and accept all the consequences. We should draw lessons from all this and I think we did. Me, my two brothers and my sister we never experienced DV in our households. May be because we all hated to see what our mum was going through. I can write a lot about the topic, I must say that you are doing a great job by bringing your experiences to life. It is our duty to talk and write all about the truth and I do admire you for it. I came across your video you did about your dad’s death, where you are talking at Grove Park Cemetary by chance and I subscribed to your channel. I was at that funeral that day and I knew your dad very well. Your mum is my cousin and I love her very much. She is such a caring person. Wish her all the best. Another great podcast Mem & Ria! Thank you for sharing this one with us, as I (and most likely a lot of your viewers) can also relate to this one a lot. A few people very close to me had unfortunately suffered with addiction in the past for long periods of their lives but thankfully they're all now over their problems and live much better and happier lives.

It's great that you're doing this. I feel sure you will be successful. It has made me wonder why I feel so strongly emotional . I think the community that we lived in were united by the drastic post war damage we experienced. I found a skeletal head of a woman in Canon murnane road who was blitzed while sheltering in her cellar. I took it to Mrs Brown who owned the vegetable shop in Alscot Road. war damage was everywhere so it wasn't an attractive area but we cared for each other. I' was born in Curtis Street in . 1947. There’s so much I can talk about with this topic but I’ll keep it to a few points. The only time money can’t buy you happiness is when it comes down to health. What it does give you is the best opportunity to get better. The people that say they don’t want money are the ones too lazy to go out and get it. I can guarantee if that person was given a bag full of money they wouldn’t turn it down. Money doesn’t create bad people just like knifes don’t kill people. Money will bring out the truth in people. If you’re good, you’ll still be good Although money can buy you happiness, sometimes it’s just for a certain period of time. I have always said, True happiness is not having what you want…It’s wanting what you have. Great podcast ❤

My understanding is this, One belief is just as far-fetched in interpretation of the truth as the next and in order for you to believe in what you believe in you equally have to believe in other religions and faiths as they are all guided by as the word states faith there is no proven factual information whether it's a religion spirituality whether you believe in aliens we derive from otherworldly beings every single interpretation is as far-fetched as the next so to shun another belief system is to shun your own. My Gods are my parents. The same way people seek help, advice or guidance from God/religion…I get that same help, advice or guidance from my mum and dad. I totally understand people don’t have a physical being to go to so, having a belief is good. When it comes to the topic of heaven and hell I believe it’s what you leave behind not what you’re going to. I don’t behave in a way that takes me to a better place when I die ( the unknown ) I act in a way that I will leave a better place for my family to live.

Imagine if there was no religion and the possibility of heaven or reincarnation wasn’t known, we’d go crazy. We would have nothing to live for, to me religion is a moral code to keep people sane and not do evil things through the fear of “God”
