I'm so glad that you were finally able to get the answers you knew all along. All the hugs. I kind of had the opposite problem growing up. My dad knew from pre-k that I had some kind of Learning Disablity. Because I was young, no one told me anything. I didn't start figuring it out till I got constantly bullied by the other kids. But I never felt disabled, I went out of my way to jump through multiple hoops or road blocks that were set up because my dad and the school board said I "couldn't do X because of Y" so I ended up being stubborn and going out of my way to do those things. Which included getting out of special education into all regular classes, and I even got into an Honors english and would later go to publish my own book. I know for sure, I'm def not the smartest person out there, but I know I'm not stupid and that was such a huge relief for me. Thank you April for sharing your story with us. <3

Hi! I can relate. My moms partner had a stroke and after that he changed. Got depressed and angry, opposite from before. I’m sorry for you and your entire family because it’s hard to handle personality changes. If it’s mental disorders, addiction, or physical illness or grief it’s so sad. And hard to accept. I feel for you all and hope it’s gonna be ok in the long run.

You are incredibly strong and brave to have gone through all you have done April. Life may be difficult for both you and Mr Honey, but I wish nothing but the best for the both of you and your family ❤

I often wondered about this subject. I feel like a narcissist magnet. I’m legally blind and I once was married and after that I had a way too long relationship with an ex boyfriend. I honestly couldn’t see what I see now. My hindsight is 20/20. My normal bad vision is uncorrectable 20/200. The lest person I was involved with gave me lies, lies and more lies. He was stupid because everything, practically, is available on the internet. I’m referring to information. I will always be dependent and I now feel that is a big issue that I feel these dysfunctional people are looking for.

My respect for you went even higher my friend, I had no idea you were dealing with pain issues, you are an inspiration.

I remember this video and when it came out. I think it was about someone I don’t remember. Good video though lots of good information that can hopefully help some folks out.
