    Nice cart, how did you mount the license plate on the front?

    • @Twhite11100
      @Twhite11100 Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks. The plate was mounted to the brackets that would normally be attached to the plastic piece that hides the front suspension. Thought it looked cleaner this way.

      The medalist cart has a steel body. Mine wasn’t rusty and fairly straight. As in the video I welded the holes left by the rear scuff plates for a smoother look. Prep as you would an automobile if you plan to paint. Cartaholics forum has some good info as well as several of the others. Not knowing your budget, I would recommend upgrading to 48v and a custom controller. It will make a noticeable difference over 36v. Check out my other videos for some other ideas.

    Yep, 14”s. No lift, stock suspension. Barely rub when wheels fully turned left/right. 👍

    I have questions... Just grabbed a 22e... Basically frame, steering and rear end, and body (no motor or wiring), I enjoy projects and making things better.. Would be interested in picking your brain lol, is there a way to contact you? Or private message me, great video!!

    Hi, I’m a dealer for several of the major parts, lift kit, wheels, suspension, seat belts, windshield, etc. Other parts I shopped for on eBay, Amazon, or local suppliers.

    Where you get all the replacement parts? I'm currently stripping mine down to do the same.

    what size wheels did you go with? I see they are 23" tires but I also have newly acquired 1995 Ezgo Medalist that I am now working on. Cant decide between 12" or 14" wheels and 23" tires.

      Hi, these wheels are 14” with 23” all terrain tires. The cart has a 6” lift. You can check out my website for parts. www.classiccartcustoms.com. Send me a message there or call and I can get you a better price than listed or get other styles. Thanks for asking!

      Thanks for watching. This one sold in October 2021 for $7500. Currently building a 48v Yamaha and a 48v Ezgo.

      @@Twhite11100 That's encouraging. I'm working on a 94.5 Medalist as we speak. Still a 36v series cart but planning to upgrade controller and convert to 48v along with higher amp solenoid and 2ga battery cables then see how things go overspinning the stock motor. Trying to get around 20mph out of it which would be a huge improvement from the 12 I get now. Picked this thing up for $800 and I'm in it for about 2500 including the cart right now.

    • @Twhite11100
      @Twhite11100 Před rokem

      That’s a good deal! I would recommend Alltrax 500amp controller and solenoid combo. ScottyB at cartsunlimited.net is great. This Medalist was running well over 20 Mph with 36v, Alltrax controller, stock motor, 2ga battery and motor wires, and 23” tires. I have a 2013 Ezgo 48v that is done very similarly with Alltrax controller on stock motor running 30 mph plus! Might upgrade to a plumquik motor if I keep it long enough, lol.
