Great times Saturdays as a kid back then - watch the morning kids programmes with a bit of breakfast - go out to see ya mates afterwards - comeback filthy dirty later in time for dinner after playing in the bonbsite all afternoon or played football - watch the football results then the evening double act shows or what have you and then a bit of match of the day to end the day - great days looking back on them 🫶

This is a remarkable woman. Not just her talent, which is monumental, but her exquisite taste! In this show she not only does a relatively obscure Nilsson song... she does THREE McCartney songs. Hell... even when covering the Beatles she knows who wrote the songs worthy of her exceptional talents. This stuff couldn't have come at a better time, I'm struggling, thanks for uploading, and thanks Bobbie Gentry!

Do yourself a favor! And put your favorite Gene PITNEY song, on LOOP on your computer, and play it over and over for an hour or two. The only thing you'll need to adjust is the volume, to suit your mood. Mine is Twenty Hours From Tulsa. And I've been listening to this "magic" voice, for over sixty years. Hard to believe I grew up in Cardiff, in NSW, in the 50's and 60's he died in Cardiff in WALES in 2006. Miss him, but play his music DAILY!

I got 40 pence pocket money. On Saturday morning, I ran to the shops and bought a bottle of lime soda, chocolate, and the comic 'Twinkle', which always had a free gift of a plastic ring or bracelet. I'd go into the front room of the house, put the heater on high, and watch The Double Deckers, Banana Splits etc. I was around 6 or 7 years old. I'm 61 now and miss those exciting Saturday mornings ❤❤ Watching this video brings back all those memories when life was great ❤❤❤

That bridge in the first scene with the guy angry over the donkey, has appeared in so many British TV Shows and Movies, including various episodes of *The Avengers* tv show and *Dracula AD 1972* are just two that I can recollect

I recorded this on to a cassette tape ( direct line ) as we didn’t have a video then. So glad to see it in full after many decades. I ended up buying all their 70’s albums after seeing this, they blew me away.

Starting in 1965 I had the privilege of seeing Gene in concert 15 times and his voice just kept getting better. There will never be another. We still miss you.
