Yay!!! That was awesome! 🤩
Glad you liked it!!
I love this video
How many years do you play?

Now you know what not to do. I've been doing this since I was 9 in 1960. Constantly. Consistently. I have made huge improvements in the last 10 years. A lot of the stuff I just wasn't getting the hang of at a speed or even a steady tempo useful enough to apply to anything. I've gone thru this so many times I now accept these plateaus trusting that it's simply part of the deal. You are not alone by a long shot. I asked one of my students how he got to be a Black Belt. He said "I just didn't stop". Thanks for the video. There are times when we we're the only ones. Bill
Thank you for your support. I agree - just don't stop.
Awww it’s ok, just a bad day. Tomorrow will be better. At least your hair looks good, that’s the main thing 😛🤗
Bro I've been watching for maybe a week and the progress is immense! Keep it up my guy 🎶🖤
Thank you very much for your support :)
Good job! 🥰
Thank you! 😁
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WEEK 7 AND YOU GOT THIS PART DOWN RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Yay!!!! 🎉
Awesome 🤩
Thanks 🤗
I just watched the first one and then this one and was just thinking, you must feel so much better now without the beard. I also love your hair! 😛 You’re doing amazing! Look how good you’re getting!!!!
Ahaha "Tyvm for your support" ;p xc
So annoying making such basic errors. I shouldn't be missing notes at that section. It's not even a hard part. I'm deeply frustrated by this. I should be better at it by now and progress has slowed to inperceptability. Also i desperately need to relax a lot more, especially on the long stretches as it is causing me a lot of pain. And i have little control over the weight when i am so tense. Overall im suprised at how bad this one was but it is always harder to play well when im recording myself. There is clearly marked improvement from the 1week video and in 19 days i have gotten comfortable at my new piano although i havent messed with any of the buttons yet. But i still feel like im better than this and i want my wrists to recover quicker so i can put more hours in per day as i have been slacking for a while now.
Sounds amazing
Tyvm for your support.
u'r really good '-'
Tyvm for your support. I try.
Beautiful hobby. ❤
I am doing the same thing since a few days, everyday 😂 you are playing really good!
👏👏👏👍
keep on going, it sounds great!
Thanks a lot!
This looks awesome 🎶🎹
Hello, good luck with your progress. How long u think it will take you to play perfectly?
Thank you ever so much for the support. I would like to thinknI'll have learned all the notes by heart within the next couple of weeks but I'm not rushing myself, just a little at a time. Then i need to work on things like phrasing and tonality but i dont really know what that even is yet to be honest. I'll stop uploading videos when I play the whole thing through with zero mistakes. Hopefully some time this year. Id like to play it for my family at Christmas. But, again, I'm in no rush. I'm enjoying the practice
Hey man, Beethoven wrote at the top of the sheet for the first movement of the Moonlight Sonata that the entire piece should be played without mutes. So push down the rightmost pedal and this is going to sound so much better instantly :) Good job!
Yes he did and i agree, once you get used to the patterns, the whole piece evolves as you start to employ the pedal. Im glad i didnt care back then though, i was having enough problems without adding more lol. Getting better every day :) started on the 3rd now too but i think that will take a long time to learn so i wont be posting my progress on that.
keep it up
Thank you for your support
Sick bro! I love the ambition you have to learn these complex songs, keep up the good work!
Thank you ever so much for your support :)
I mean this isnt really the most complex song
@@atte9702 Classic internet tough guy routine.
@@Squant bruh 😂
@@atte9702 Moonlight sonata is actually a grade 8 piece, check out the 3rd-movement. Every piece of music has a depth only understandable to the writer regarding the dynamics, no doubt this piece is complex in its entirety
Nice hat :)
I’ve been using a digital piano for the past 11 years. I’m only 19 years old, but I have a job now and I bought a real piano. For the first time ever I can finally feel the music. It took me about a week to adjust my fingers to the heavier weight of the keys. But now my fingers don’t even recognize that weight. The biggest tip I can give is that you have to realize that the key is not “harder” to press, it’s just “slower” to press. In order to play faster I realized i had to, in a way, press every key sooner than I normally, would if that makes sense? The best advice I can give is to try and feel the glassy-ness of the keys, focus more on the feel of the keys under your fingertips. Another thing would be, learn a single piece from Mozart. I would recommend an easy sonata like no. 16, because his music imo really helps to develop proper finger technicality and ability. Personally I’ve learned the full sonata 1, the first movement of sonata 2, 3, 7, 11, 12, and 17. His music is very technical and because it’s the majority of what I play I believe it’s a major part of the reason I transitioned from keyboard to piano so fast.
Thank you ever so much for taking the time to share this. I can see myself rereading this often until is all sinks in. Congratulations on being a successful human so young! When i was 8 i was playing in the dirt and when i was 19 i was wasting all my money on drugs and booze. Its unbelievable to think i could have bought a piano. Please do amazing things. And thankbyou again for the help!
I listened to a bit of it. Im not a fan. Mozart isnt my style.
Please, keep going on, mate! I'd love see that! Nice work 😊
Thank you ever so much for the support :)
I recently found a Full Sized keyboard in the garbage.(Williams Legato iii) I took it apart, thoroughly cleaned it inside and out(sanitized it) got a power adapter, Headphones and a Sustain Pedal(less than $60 through Amazon) and it works! Now I am attempting to train myself. Not quite to the level of playing a sonata.
Oh wow what an amazing find!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do :) Please allow me to recommend @JJBartleyMusic His tutorials are very simple to follow and theres a fair range. I started on Fur Elise, i think thats quite a typical starting piece for a lot of people. Good luck! One day please pop back and share your progress :) and most importantly; Have Fun!! :)

Merci boucoup!
K, first think i notice is that my posture sucks so i must sort out my seating position asap lol
Sounding good, man. Keep it up 👍
Tyvm for the support
Awesome dude 😎 so this is where youve been 😂 💪
Yep :p
There's a book called Music for Sight Singing by Ottman. Maybe you want to take a look? You'd have to google to find where to get it though. It should help get more familiar with reading sheet music.
This is really good, keep up the great work! I myself also can't read sheet music, and am practicing this piece at the moment. I use youtube tutorials as a way to learn, so that might be helpful?
Small world, thats exactly what i use too :) Good luck on your journey also! I hope we dont give up, it does look like it gets rather complex later but it is such a beautiful piece I think its worth the struggle :)
@@JonnyGetsLost exactly :D
Practicing 11.6 days a week, 40 hours a day, are we?
No no, i need a day off sometimes. Just 40 hours a day for like 4-5 days then i hate the stupid keyboard for a day or two and repeat.
How did you learn it, if you can't read sheet music?
One note at a time. Fur Elise took me years to learn so please wish me luck :p i love this piece so much!
@@JonnyGetsLost Wouldn't it still be easier to learn to read sheet music just enough to be able to play this?
I learned a lot of songs without sheet music. I'm more of a visual kinda guy.
Oh, I've learned quite a few pieces without sheet music too, but especially with classical music, it'd be way easier. You're certainly capable of reading, though probably with guidance or good materials.
@@raitisveinit would take years to proficiently read more complex pieces.
Quick update: 40 hours practice every day is hard on your fingers and wrists i should have eased into it. If this has inspired you please start at only 30 hours per day to ease into it.
good job 😄👋 !
Tyvm
Just like you in general Jonny boy? See you crying in pets at home the other day
Should of come over and said hi then, i didnt notice anyone cos idc about other people. Cant belive you are STILL crying about ONE COMMENT jesus you lead a sad pathetic life! Oh nooo! Not an Age Restriction on a 7 year old video! On a personal channel! Oh god I'm Sooo bothered!!
Where u at now Scott? Bring ur personalities
bro recordin on a 🥔
😂😂 this stupid mfr has literally zero concept of a personal channel!! Bwahaha! Dumb bastard literally thinks I recorded this FOR OTHER PEOPLE!! :D :D News flash idiot! When you are learning new skills, recording yourself and watching it back helps a lot! And also creates fond memories to look back on. I'm really not surprised you don't know that as you clearly never learned any skills xx
when is your next night shift?
You have a literal brain problem. I suggest you seek medical advice.
Awesome!
im so annoyed everytime cos i know i can do so much better but never when the studio is set up :P
