That was great!
gay title
LOL these titles
I‘ve never seen somebody look so defeated after Conor lost to Khabib. That look he gave him when the referee pulled Khabib away.. Conor was never the same after.
Hey…. Booo…. I live in the “thought” world…., and it ROCKS!!!!!
My question is : how does this knowledge help me in my everyday life ?
Sam Harris is a hack
8:55 The fact that Jordan was able to answer Sam’s riddle about “the I talking to me” concept with a potentially legitimate answer about the prefrontal cortex talking to your motor cortex in a couple seconds was wildly impressive
Lies a setup for failure for pain and chaos, and a mental disorder. All I have is bad thoughts
Peterson is such a dumbass compared to Harris. The moment he open his mouth it's back to stupidville.
So what is the secret to life? Did I mss it?
So he’s unlocked the secret to life and yet he doesn’t smile a single time in the interview or show even a trace of humour or joy? Ok…
A master of cookery 🍳
Joe wasnt scared...he understands distance management. Current rogan would destroy current Tyson outside of a boxing ring
He did as he said & S.M.A.S.H.E.D. him.
Thank you Sam Harris and JRE for inventing meditation, very cool
I don't see it tbh, what was the "secret"?
Personhood is a psychological framework produced by the way we are naturally programmed. The self has no association with personhood in reality. Being programmed with a “name and form” perception of manifestation is low vibration and attracts a force of nature called Ego, which is Satan, wherein you become deceived into believing that selfhood is personhood when it actually is not. Elimination of the belief that you are a person or individual will eradicate all suffering. The “individual” is the sinner. Sin isn’t so much evil as it is false, not aligned with reality. Sin is the cause of suffering. Therefore, detachment from believing you’re an individual will break the illusion, there will be no longer a sinner that appears before you, and therefore you will be rid of sin. Realize this and suddenly everything Jesus ever said will actually make sense and not open to the interpretation of the multitudes of “holy men” who all have their own false interpretations of religious text.
Joe said everything
Until Sam goes and sits in a cave for 20 years, I really couldn’t care less about his philosophical ramblings
He’s been on several month long retreats
@@mitchgoldstein6720 so has my aunt, she works as a massage therapist lmfao
Hi, im not islam supporter but Khabib is my nomber 1, because i think first of all he is a good guy
Here’s a thought
Tell this to Gazan kids
Is there a me to feel my thoughts? or think them? who is asking this question?
Seems to be at odds with Determinism, you're either a passenger on a train looking out the window at the crazy view, or you're wandering around counting the number of seats...you still end up in the same place!?
Blah, blah. Yeah, Sam. We got it.
So, was this whole word salad just an innuendo for selling an app subscription? No class.
Buddhist philosophy really

just meditate
wow that flew over JR well quick
its so weird to hear a man say all the mysitcal crap from the religions but from a scientific viewpoint
Oh god, jordan peterson at 2 minutes in. shit, I've been tricked!
I click on Sam Harris and get…a bit of Jordan P. What a disappointment.
Loneliness is a builtin burden of suffering.
Yeah, I'm not sold on this. Pain can be so bad it makes you pass out. You don't need to worry about future pain in order to find current pain unbearable.
Does this speak abt depression and injustice ?
Not really the secret to life guys, it's called cognitivism. They teach this stuff in any decent psychology course.
Man i hate goggins so goddamn much
Too many words. Get to the point. I know I know he loves words
When AI works for me imagine millions of ai carrying the bed when i get tired imagine no work massages billions of bots working for me carrying me everywhere

Imagine doing that in a room full of people
"Like it or not, life is but a dream."
Row, row, row your boat…
“what’s wrong, you tired? let’s talk” khabib was a fucking monster
Sam can be glad if he manages to lock bathroom door before shitting himself.
There's a large amount of truth in this, and also a seriously deep level of missing the point. Ultimately, I would say, it's untrue, and symptomatic of how western minds have over-rationalised 'eastern' ideas and practices, simultaneously fitting them to their utilitarian goal of us all just shutting up and not complaining. There is such a thing as directly felt pain, and you may be 'bearing' it and able to keep doing so, but it's a hard-wired reality to also 'suffer' on account of it, because that's the very reaction that makes you pay attention to problems and attempt to fix them; like you really should get that nail out of your knee very quickly and stop the bleeding and cleanse the wound, etc., etc. The same with things in your social reality that threaten you or relationships too; they need attention and attempts at fixing, and will remain until either that happens or you really have no hope and grieve it out of yourself. You may develop techniques for avoiding that feeling and context, and that can be helpful in shifting the context to something more real, or more fixable, or both, but if you feel you've totally come to be able to totally not suffer, that's not true, the pain still lies there, maybe unconscious, but still having a serious effect. It'll come back to you in the end, and probably while you sit there 'feeling at peace', it's eating at you somewhere inside. Even if thought was the root cause, just shifting those thoughts will not eradicate it. And that we decide to think in response to pain is not the root cause, but that we have to think in response to circumstances, and cannot do otherwise. In fact we could take it deeper and say that it's not really thought but perception. Only proper attention to it and properly resolving it, via a true understanding of how you fully feel about it and really don't want it, will even change it. Maybe a shift of thoughts can alter something, but not the actual underlying perception that caused the pain, and not the inevitability of a response to it of some kind or another which will 'cause' suffering. Meditation does not and cannot erase suffering.
The thing about Sam is that he tends to cover all people with these universal benefits of mindfulness meditation, and there's nothing for neurodiverse persons, whose brain structures can vary so much that these universal ideals don't always apply universally.
🥺😭😳😧 🤣😂😅😆
No.
