You can make a 'phantom' Mayberry' patrol car from the AMT `70 Ford 'police interceptor' model, or go Mopar with the Jo Han '68 Plymouth police car. Somewhat out-of-date since Andy and Barney were off the show at that time, but they`re both in the stock 4 door configurations.

The build looks amazing, the pictures of the characters in the windows looks perfect. I did that on a couple of my builds with driver figures from American Graffitti. What a creative idea using bottle caps and pictures of the wheels, I would not have known they were not real wheels and tires from the pictures. I often add custom "decals" by printing out images and glueing them to the model when the decals I want are not available, they look fine on in my display. Keep up the great work.

I'm not as familiar with this show but I agree it's fun to do builds that bring back childhood memories.
