Absolutely true. When overwhelmed with all that awaits for me to do, I get anxious and anxiety attacks set in. If I start with a task, any task and just do it and complete it, my anxiety subsides. Sometimes it is one moment at a time.

Your children were so lucky to have you for a mom and teach them these things before the world got ahold of them. I’m probably your age and my upbringing was very different and my life choices had no compass. Luckily I have a special needs son so is an innocent soul and wasn’t able to make bad choices. I’ve followed you for years but I don’t remember hearing about your upbringing ..if you were raised in a solid traditional Catholic home. Blessings to you and your family and all you do.

This is a very helpful reading. Something like scruples is easy to slip into without being aware, as you read, it is an obsession and a mental illness, but, thankfully it can be helped through the guidance of your confessor. What a gift our priests are! May God generously bless and guide them.

What a lovely day! I wanted to do an outdoor egg hunt for my 9 kids but it ended up snowing in Alberta right before so we had to stay in the house. Hoping one day soon we have a later Easter with good weather and can do what you guys did! Hope you are enjoying this Easter season! ❤

My birth mother is an abusive person, she has always tried to destroy my motherhood and name to my children. This past year i had to give up contact with her because it was affecting my homelife and family too much. I have prayed and prayed for some kind of help and guidance because I do feel very lost in the raising of my children. I have adopted you as my mother Mrs Vanderputten thank you for all your advice you offer i take it all very seriously and to heart. I pray God keeps blessing you for all your hard work and charity. I can see all your hard work in the photo of you and your daughters. I hope they know and appreciate what a golden mother God has given them.

Yes indeed, as St. Teresa of Avila would say, like your mother, Leane, said: "all things are passing, God alone suffices". God created time for mankind, He does not need the creature, time, because He is the Alpha and the Omega, He has no beginning, and He has no end. That thought is far and above our imagining. Yes, we do indeed live in difficult times. But, I am reminded of what Gandolf said to Frodo: "I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.". [― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring.] And without a doubt, in these times, there is no better decision we can make than to put Our Lord first in all we think, say and do. When we put Our Lord first, then everything else will find it's proper place. Increase our prayer to Him, devote our day and it's work and concerns to Him, and bring Him to all whom we encounter in that day. Like the Little Flower and St. Teresa of Calcutta said: "do all things (great and small) with great love." This is how we are loving Jesus. Thank you Leane, what you shared here is most important. I will be sharing!🌹

I would like to begin a plan of life. I have a plan for household duties but not for prayer, etc. Can you suggest some things? I am not up to daily Mass, but really need some routine or the day just slips away.
