Winterdriving in Norway can be really hard because you have to be on guard all the time and a little slip up can cause an accident

The rescue truck driver made it out safely (you can see him jump out in the video) But the Lithuanian lorry driver was still inside when it tumbled over the railing. He survived though, with some injuries naturally.

Regarding the truck falling off the clip, the driver of the tow-truck basically was cursing constantly, clearly in shock (understandedly). Regarding the police-car, the officer driving, had their drivers liccense revoked.

For example, in Gjøvik, which is two hours away from Oslo, buses to the capital only run once a day. I currently live half an hour from Gjøvik, but due to misaligned bus schedules, if I wish to travel to Oslo by bus, I would have to arrive four hours early or wait until the following day.

4-stjernes middag translates as you said to 4-star dinner. The concept is that we follow four famous people as they on turn invites the other three to their own home and cook for the others by themselves. They also make some light entertainment sometimes. At the end, they each rate the others on several factors, ranging from the food, presentation, the entertainment and so forth. Now, what you saw here was their take on this concept, a parody if you like. Where they did it more like how a few friends like these might go about it here in Norway.

Ylvis is doing a parody of the Norwegian vertion of the British "Come Dine with Me" where 4 celeberties (4 stars) have dinner at each others 4 days in a row, and they give out dice for the food and entertainment that the host gave on that night, and the one with most points after the 4 days "win" that week, and go on to a final where they compete to win that season. It is regular famous people, and not any spesific chefs like in the british vertion. The drinking is not normal for the show, but as mentioned, Ylvis is making a parody and having fun

Dag Sørås is a stand-up comedian with a snarky sarcastic dark humor, he's great! If you find stuff of him that has english subtexts it's totally worth watching!

We sure have, or at least we had, a few "characters" in our news-channels, who always did set up their own unique reporting style. Nowdays, I guess they have become slightly more relaxed in a way. As those guys also often spoke a bit fast, so I do think that these "characters" came by as they also wanted to put through as much information as possible for the few seconds they had available. So they might have done some "reheasing", and needed great consentration to get it all put out. Could be a reason for their way of doing their reporting. They where all very professional anyway, and did great work. And of course, every man and woman have their own character. Anyway; - "Team Antonsen" made a great point by this one. 😁😆🤣

Kristoffer Schau is the guy who walks in. He has some funny stuff too like his parodies of dutch people for example. And he had a band called Cumshots 😅 You don't need subtitles for his Nederlenderen videos. They are equally not understandable in any language. 😂

I live near'ish to a small town called Odda, which is not too far from Trolltunga, driving down to Odda you drive across a huge waterfall called Låtefoss, on an old stone bridge, it's an amazing spot to pull over and watch the waterfall. Then in another direction of my town towards another small town called Sauda, you cross another large waterfall, called Svandalsfossen, another amazing viewpoint. And one other place, a bit past the town of Etne, you find Langfoss, this huge waterfall you cross, has a rest stop by it with a restaurant/café and everything, and I believe hikes are arranged to go to to top of the waterfall. The West coast is the home to a lot of amazing views and waterfalls, and these are just a few within a couple hours of where I live.

To compare to the US! American cops have around 5 to 7 month education before going into service. Here in Norway it takes 3 years and with a tight screening. They run a insane physiological program to test your limit of what you can take before you snap. They evaluate you from that. There are plenty of good cops in America, but the bad seeds would not pass the first month at a Norwegian police academy.
