I'm here to talk if anyone does feel that way!
Plan Parenthood?
This could of inspired the Barbie Movie!?
Fourteen years after this video was made I see it and love it and have lived it. What a great record of the growth in our community. Everyone involved should be proud of being a part of this legacy video.
Seattle has become an overpopulated City it's not so fun anymore
Aka RAT CITY
interesting enough White Center is sometimes referred to by the nickname "Rat City" due to the historical presence of a military Relocation and Training Center during World War II
Go to Chicago or south central for ghetto lol white center ain't ghetto I feel safe here compared to over in other big citys
White center small asf and you over here comparin it to the biggest cities💀gtfoh nigga wc is
Are you moving out as a grown up or a child lmao who plays baseball in the house i get it if they play with a rubber ball but not a hard baseball
Went to Mt View elementary school 1969 to 1972. Played little league for Tom's Chevron Black. Basketball for Sonics at Red Shield and WigWams my favorite store and Herfies burgers.

Grew up on 11th and Henderson in the 70's-80's but now live in Federal Way. Not a huge difference really....All of South King County has become the Armpit of the N.W. I was also told by my "Brother"-in law one time. I quote "there AINT no hood in Seattle. He was from East St Louis I believe.............................
I love the DUBSEA till my last breath everyone check out white center blues by Nick chambers aka N.M.C. my grandpa's best move was moving my family from eastern wa to the DUBSEA and embedding my Sepulveda families name in the DUBSEA back in the early 70's write a book about my family and I promise it would be a box office hit for the good bad and ugly we went through. when someone asks me where I'm from I never say seattle I say either the WEST or WHITE CENTER period!
If you anit from WC don't roll though some OG BLOODs might smoke you..haha

I used to go to evolution all the time! Been so long I almost miss it lol. As bad as white center was when I lived there and as much fucked up shit happened to me there I also had the time of my life as well. Good times and bad times.
Coronado springs is full of drug trafficking, gang affiliation and prostitutes atleast when I lived there it was. I don't know how it is now because its been 5 or 6 years since I lived there but I know from experience that its full of drugs and fucked up people. I was one of them at one time in my life. I was raped in white center not far from coronado springs.
ESTA BIEN EL VIDEO PERO HAY QUE MEJORAR LA INFORMACION(QUE SEA MAS CONCRETA).
what's so bad about coronado spring?
Bacc in the day wen gas was 2 buccs haha
@jeSSiEmiLLeR yeah, I lived in the Park Lake Homes (The Projects of King County and is near Evergreen) and there's a hella gangs there and by Cascade Middle School. Jus sayin
ALFfan1 dam you must be old asf
Man we were probably neighbors then. I did too
White Center is not a bad place to live. Just because there's a high poverty level and it's rundown does not make it a "Ghetto."
ALFfan1 bro I'm 5 years in the future rn and it's all bad I've seen 3 drive by's here and a shoot out
You sound stupid nigga 🤡
Gas $2.00! Wow this video must of been shot along time ago! A lot has change since $2.00 a gallon. Keep your head up!!!!!
@dinobird11 i went to evergreen to and there is gangs all over that area atleast there was when i was there
@JAYJAY206ER i liked the taco truck too lol
I lived there in 2006 and 2007 and there was a lot of gangs and drugs and violence. I don't know how it is now but it was bad when I lived there.
@jeSSiEmiLLeR the cop was officer cox
oh yeah and there is alot of mexicans and asians mostly those were the dominating races then black then ethiopian and then whites
White center and rainere avenue are both bad places i was there in 2007 and there was still lots of gangs prostitutes drugs expecially meth and coke and all kinds of problems there shooting all the time i was there when that cop was shot and i saw it happen out of my window i doubt it has changed much
I lived in coronado spring for three years and it is bad!!! i know this i was in the middle of all of it and a part of all of it.
he owns the network...but he doesnt make the shows and content
He, now his daughter, just has meetings with the networks producers about the content on the network.
Kool video there should be more stories like this.My Great- Grand parent's fled zacatecas and came to California weeks before the revolution began.
@Noobskrilla "Your ignorant self"? LOVE that term almost as much as 'hating on', 'staying' for meaning 'living' (as in 'they've stayed in Kent for 30 years, and bought their house 20 years ago' - that's 'staying'?) and macaroni and cheese as a holiday food...
Why do they call it White Center? Perhaps "Poor White Center" or "We Don't Want Any Whites Center"... Some parts of it ARE nice, but in general, it's an awful place, full of thrift stores and cheap restaurants (almost ALWAYS Mexican or Ethiopian).
@Bootlegger718 Once again no one is denying the LATER INFLUENCE or CONTRIBUTIONS. But started it bro. Type in "Latinos trying to steal Hip Hop"
@Bootlegger718 Hip Hop was started by Black disenchanted youth in the Bronx. Agaiun no one is denying the later Infulence of Latinos and others but we started...Just face it man!
@Bootlegger718 It was'nt because of what he saw on TV.ZULU Is real tribe in Africa he studied under. You need to do some research bra. And Ricans came later not in the beginning
@sourTRON I watched it and Immortal Technique is lying! Hip Hop was created in 1972 in the South Bronx by Bam and Kool Herc. They wanted to give Blacks voice in America so Bam took a pilgrimage to Egypt in 1970 for 2 years to study the teachings of the ZULU nation and he bought it back in 72'. It was all black people. No one is denying the later influence whan Latinos break dancers came along in the mid 70's. Latin B Boys admitted this themselves in a documentary
@breezwonder check it out let me know what your thoughts are. " Immortal Technique and Chino XL on Latinos in Hip Hop" (0;35-2;46) peace
@breezwonder Pioneers for sure. Kool herc is a god father. He named bboys "B-boys" but he wasnt the only one ripping it up back then. As for the Latinos trying to steal hip hop video it only show the influences of the culture. ( which is on point in that aspect).
@sourTRON no you are very wrong! Africa Bambatta and Kool Herc created it in 1972 before any other race ripped off err "Embraced" it. Type in "Latinos trying to steal Hip Hop" on you tube
@breezwonder very wrong.....hip hop doesn't belong to one race of people. Latins in the Bronx had a lot to do with hip hop culture as well as blacks. do some research before you state false facts....... it makes you sound Ignorant.
Hip Hop is Black MUSIC/CULTURE. Non Blacks call it "Universal Music that brings us together" Cause they wanna be down!
IM SOOOO PROWD OF HIM!
OMFG! THATS MY BROTHER! ON UTOOB!
THATS MY BROTHER!
my husband grew up here and my family has heard many stories of his childhood in the 70 80's. His stories sound just like the man in the video (Mengstab Tzegai) I found this video interesting. My husband is the strongest person I know! just like the girl in the video said "The struggle will make you stronger" It was even harder for him being white. He has done quite well for himself so I beleive you can overcome anything. Growing up in White Center made him the strong man he is today
