SANDALS JAMAICA OVER THE WATER VILLA
This was our Awesome Over The Water Villa #9001 in Sandals Royal Caribbean Jamaica. It was hands down the best Sandals suite we've stayed in. Check out our other room videos to compare. If you are lucky your butlers will be Alex(AKA Scotty) and Samantha. Very expensive, and very worth it! Great job Sandals. Good luck getting a your reservation.

May 2015. Very deceptive, this is three units not one. You can hear everything from the adjoining units. This Royal Estate is not private at all! Sandals removed the shrubs that are on the website picture and added semi private fences.

I love. Your honesty and agree 100 %. I appreciate everything you said, and THANK YOU! Since you seem to have the same taste and concerns as me, I was wondering what your thoughts are as the best resort to go to? In April 2024, it will be mine and my husbands 50th Anniversary and want to do something and not be disappointed. Or upset that I paid good money for a place that isn’t updated. What are your thoughts for us? Appreciate this video.
Our favorite Sandals was of course the over the water in Jamaica. The cost and availability are factors. The best value and experience was The Grand St. Lucia Rondoval. It was Awesome. Great resort. Great room, privacy and butler service. Happy Anniversary.🎉 We celebrate our 30th this year

I know you went a few years back but I'm wondering about the 930pm last boat to island. Did this mean you could not enjoy the resort night life after 930 ?

Thank you for saving us $18k. We talked to sandals because the pictures were enough for us to question if it was truly private. They assured us the building was ours alone. But your experience is what I was worried about. Thank you.

Great heads-up. Thanks.. It is now 2020, five years after you posted your video, from what I can tell on the Sandals website now, it is still a bit misleading. I do no not know what the website ad actually looked like 5 years ago, but just based on your description of not being fully informed back then of what your were signing up for, it seems like a few things are still misleading. It still is somewhat misleading because of the photos they use. Their photos don't show the privacy walls on both sides that you show. There is also no mention in the their description of the two adjoining suite doors right in the living room, which for me would be a deal-breaker for sure. But they do say in the ad now... " Royal Estate Two Story One Bedroom Beachfront Butler Villa Suite with Pool - BSP Reminiscent of a true Bahamian manor this luxurious, sprawling retreat is the largest suite within the Royal Estate Beachfront Villa. With every luxury imaginable, including direct beach access, a private pool and a personal butler to attend to your every whim. This spectacular Love Nest Butler Suite is a privileged sanctuary arranged over two levels." So, the line that states it's the "largest suite within the Royal Estate Beachfront Villa", was enough to prompt me to do further research and find helpful videos like yours, to confirm whether or not the entire villa was what they were selling. I still think they should be a bit more descriptive about how this Villa is being rented out, and should even include a floor plan PDF on their website. But most of all this really should include more accurate updated photos, and even a 3D-Virtual room tour of all their accommodations. As consumers, we must all have each other's back, so travel videos like this are definitely very much appreciated.

@@Woodkirky-1 : Great. Thanks for the reply. I actually just booked one these Water Villas not long before you replied...LOL. I guess I wasn't concerned so much about the tiny nude area itself being loud, but more so the whole private island. Just looking at some of the photos on their website and on other sites, it looks like they have live music and fire shows next to the building on the far end of the private island...etc.. ??? Was it still fairly quiet there even in the evenings ? I asked the agent I was chatting with online on their website, if I'd be able to request a specific villa number, and he said I could certainly put the request on my reservation. Since only five of their Over Water Villas are in that Infinity Pool + Direct Outward Facing Ocean View class, I see that I am going to get a great private view regardless of which of the five rooms they assign us to. I was just intrigued about the end villa you stayed in though, because I wasn't sure how much music you'd hear on that little island next to it. But you guys were happy there, so maybe I will put a special request on my reservation for that one. Looking forward to going there.

@@jenlanjen : Depends on the time of year you go.. Sometimes it can lower at around 3,000 per night. And while that price is extremely high for the "average" person, one has to remember it's an "All-Inclusive" deal... Food, drinks, and many activities are included. And if you have a butler class room, your butler service is included too.

Love the video. We arrive Tuesday but are staying in the bungalow as villas were all booked when we booked last April!
They have a sale going on right basically for three nights you stay for like $6800 if that makes any difference Im already thinking about planning to go as a once in a lifetime thing its not a bad price to be catered to for three days in your own little paradise people blow thousands in casinos in one night why not treat yourself instead of throwing money away great video!!!

The over the water suites are insane, but St. Lucia is still our favorite. It is just beautiful. Hope this helps.

All Inclusive !!! Everything included. Total trip around $14,000 Including First Class AIr. Try that in Bora Bora.

Thank you for posting this video! My husband and I were there in January as well but didn't get a video as a detailed as yours!! We were in the fire villa!
