Looked this up, to track down Julien, her former dresser. I was a principal dresser (get me) for years in the West End (mainly musical theatre) and it struck me as such a wonderful thing for Ms Foster to thanks him so publicly at the Tony's. I saw her in two of her shows on Broadway - and really it's impossible to put into words her sheer skill and professionalism. It does take a wonderful team to make a show, but you do need a star at the front - and my goodness: you need all the support you can get to pull it off. Which she certainly did. Next time she's in a show - I'll catch a flight, and get a seat.

Thank you. Thank you. You know I’ve been so privileged growing up with my mom in the business (Laurie Metcalf) but besides my mom, you have truly been a great help! I mean it. So thank you. And my mom can’t sing so... I hope I see you in New York... my mom said she wants to get you tickets to her show... yes, it’s not a joke. We both are big fans of your work.... and I’m speaking for my mom as well when I say this,...thank you for your wonderful work...it’s a pleasure watching you act... also my mom says she wishes she could be in a musical just like you!
