Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ve thought about becoming a death doula. I was able to lay next to grandma and hold her hand as she passed in the same bedroom I had spent many nights as a little girl. I wasn’t with my dad when he died in a hospital bed. He was alone too. It happened in 2008, and the thought of him being scared filled my mind for quite awhile after.
