Since I got word that Connor & Tommy would be traveling to Iowa for a few siren tests, I decided to meet up with them since they're good friends of mine! We all went to 3 siren tests together on this day. This was the second & only successful siren test that we went to. The first siren test was at a Sentry 10V in Union, IA. That didn't work out due to the fact that the county changed the testing time to an hour later than it was previously. Due to this, we had to ditch that siren test and head over to this Allertor instead so that we could film it in time. The third siren test was a 4/5 port thunderbolt in Le Roy, MN. That test also didn't work out due to the thunderbolt pretty much dying right before our eyes. We did get an ambiance of the 2001 on the northwest side of town at least so I will be uploading that video. Anyways, it was awesome to finally see Connor & Tommy in person due to the fact that they both live in Ohio. I was really curious what they would think of this Allertor in loudness so I was really looking forward to this day. I was originally going to place an audio recorder down before arriving here but lost track of time so I wasn't able to. When 11 AM arrived, this beast roared to life for 3 minutes of alert! The wind-up of this Allertor always gets me every time due to how sudden & it is lol. You'll get what I mean if you ever film this. To me, this Allertor is still one of the loudest sirens that I've ever heard in person. Not only that, but judging by Connor & Tommy's reactions, they would most definitely agree with this statement. Especially, if you're standing by the building. Connor told me that this was the second loudest siren that he's ever heard in person! Tommy got an insanely high reading of 122.9 dBA from his dB meter while Connor got a high reading of 120 dBC from his dB meter! Overall, despite the two failures that we got, today was still an extremely fun day! I wish that I could keep repeating this day! That's all I gotta say for now. Check out the info below!
