I only wish that TRUMA finally can take a look how better knock-offs in design of control panels. Yeah design of heaters - the real German enginuity no doubt, but everything else… Remote control is only BT??? Abandoned option of GPS ish control via sim. Why? Chinese control panels are WAY more advanced in it, even if made of cheap plastic and ideas. China is like Honda at first in states - no body believe in those uzkogla3blx engineers lol… Now what?

I certainly appreciate the effort here. But if you ever decide to do a similar how to for something else, I'd recommend not have the table littered with various parts and picking one up after another and referring to all of them as "this piece". If you provided the physical description of fitting sizes including thread pitch it might be easier for us to make sure we order the correct parts. Several of your links are incorrect. Thanks!!

I have a RAM Mount for my 24" tall LED stern light for my aluminum boat, my base plate is heavy 5/16" (7.94mm) aluminum and the post inside the rubber ball is steel. RAM has less expensive mounts, but for severe duty I would not recommend them.

That road at first is perfectly doable. I've done in in a mostly stock Toyota FJ recently. Didn't spin a tire. I grew up in that country and know every inch of it. All you miss out on going west on that road is miles of rocks and nothing.

You are right that you need to know your rig! I use to take my 2 wheel drive truck with posi rear end places big 4 wheel trucks laughed and couldn't believe I went there.

I asked a while back if you preferred 2 track or 4 track cats and why. You answered that they both had advantages and disadvantages. If you could ONLY have a 2 OR a 4 track cat for ever more, no take backs, which would you choose, and why? I get that there is no "best for every situation.youll ever encounter" cat, otherwise there would only be one type.but given that we are in the Pac Nor Wet, and chances are that ill be taking my cat where you take your cat for the most part, im wondering if one shines more with our type of snow? Thanks. 😊
