I have never seen Boulez like this before: lively, passionate, energetic, gripping (even physically, - no teacher would allow himself to touch conductor-elevins in such a "hands-on" way today) humorous. After all, he was 63 years old in 1989, - but youthful in appearance.

Daba igual que fuera una breve entrevista o un coloquio, que uno salía de allí con ideas muy valiosas y con fuerzas renovadas. Como dijo en su día Francisco Guerrero: "cuando empecé a acercarme a la vanguardia, el ejemplo que tomé fue Luis de Pablo. Yo quería ser él". A raíz de la triste noticia de su pérdida (uno nunca olvidará esa última entrevista en Scherzo, donde el maestro se expresó sin contemplaciones de ningún tipo y con total honestidad), hubiera sido un imperativo poner a disposición de todos las publicaciones en torno a su vida y obra. En fin, perdón si este no era el sitio para una pataleta como la mía, pero da rabia ver cómo en otros países tienen más respeto por sus compositores (Lachenmann, por ejemplo) y sin embargo aquí uno no sabe si hará falta recurrir de nuevo a patear butacas y abuchear en salas de concierto, como se hacía antaño.

Gibt es von dieser Aufführung auch noch irgendwo den Barbara Song bzw. das Lied von Polly als Video? Das fand ich in dieser Version echt klasse! :D
