@@Napoleon4778 The GBD-H1000-1 has an acceleration sensor that documents the number of steps and integrated GPS functionality that records information about the current location and the distance traveled. Thanks to the MIP-LC display and Super Illuminator, the digital display is easy to read. The training data can be analyzed in the "G-SHOCK MOVE" app and training plans can be created based on this. You don't need to take your cell phone with you while running. 😃

Without GPS, it's little more than an analog wrist-display for your phone.
But much more stylisch 😌
Without GPS it's unable to auto-set itself in much of the world. So it's crippled by being slaved to a phone all the time... which begs the question: why use a watch at all, if all it's doing is serving as an analog display for your phone?
Hey, it's also an accessory. And sometimes you want to put your mobile phone aside.
@@gshockeu Plus....it's really nice to look at. I wear a G-Shock when I'm out cycling because 1) my phone is in my cycling jersey rear pocket and 2) it won't get damaged is I happen to fall while on the bike (which can happen from time to time). Love this new reference.
Love it big time, proper cool, so wish Casio done a smaller version.
We have smaller G-SHOCK watches but unfortunately not in that same design.

@@gshockeu don't get me wrong.. the watch is well made.. but the strength of these watches, in my opinion, is that the G-shocks are not smartwatches.. but a different conception of the sports watch, more dedicated to adventure. and not to health monitoring
NOOOO! Remove that heartrate sensor, it ruins the watch
Why do you hate it so much? There is a version without the heart rate already out, so you can get that. I have the square one of this, and I like the smart features in a classic design. The little bear paw thing honestly doesn’t bother me. I prefer the smooth design of my Huawei GT3 better, but not by that much.
@@sloppynyuszi I hate the heart rate sensor because it makes the watch less comfortable and as it drains the battery faster I would never use it anyway. The older models are analog. So when I saw the thumbnail I really liked the design and with the new screen, but then all the damn hipster features (healt and mobile notificaitons) was just dissapointing.
It´s a solar watch, you don´t have to care about the energy.
@@gshockeu so why does it have a charger then? Also I already stated the main reason I dont want the heartrate sensor its because its the most uncomfortable sensor on the market. Leaving huge print on the skin. Thats why i was dissapointed, because i would have an uncomfortable watch for a feature I wouldnt use anyway.
