One fast lap from my trackday in Almeria in October 2017 with Valentinos trackdays. Bike: 2014 Superstock Ducati 1199 Panigale R with kit wiring by Barni Racing Team Italy My best lap time was 1:49:284 (unfortunately not on video). I did not push too much, since I was still breaking in the new engine. But 1:47 would have been possible without risking too much.

Hello, nice video. Did you have some troubles with engine on 1199? Was reliable?
No problems. But it is running a little hot with the standard water cooler when ambient temperatures are above 30 C.
Are you using any tune for the bike? Also what exhaust you're using. Lastly are u on pump gas 93 octane or something above??

Das hast du schon richtig gesehen. Ich habe ziemlich grosse Probleme mit der Stabilität in der Beschleunigungsphase. Zieht sich teilweise fast über die gesamte Gerade hin. Bisher haben alle Einstellungen am Fahrwerk nichts geholfen und wir haben sehr viel ausprobiert. Liegt wohl am Fahrer!
@@pbrunner81 solltest mal die OE Gabel richtig abstimmen lassen ! Falls Hilfe brauchst, kannst dich ja melden ;-)

Indeed it is! Dunlop KR106 compound 4 front and rear. Did not have a chance to stick in the softer compound 2 yet in the rear.

Dude it was a backing hot 38C in hot summer. Even the big Febur water cooler plus two additional water coolers did not manage to keep the temperature down. And why would the gearing be too long? It pretty much fits perfectly in my opinion?

@@sandorbergsma my friend i'm a amateur rider since year 2002 from barcelona with 1000cc bikes ... 99ºC is too hot for maximum engine performance , 4strokes superbikes engines go optimum between 70-90ºC more or less temperature quit some hp engine ... i know that philipp tuned this ducati and is tipical go hot in circuit , maybe another big oil cooler go better on high temps ... i say you go long because you can go to 12.000 rpm red line and in the video in final stretch you only reach 10.500 rpms ... may be i'm too accurate but my partners always adjust the gear ratios for top speed on circuit straight... sorry my english i'm spaniard ,arrogant guy fan of electric scooters

It's a 2014 1199R (Ondrej Jezek's SSTK bike) with 2017 Panigale R engine (from Michele Pirro's CIV bike)
