Sens got no depth. Their one injury on the back end to being in big trouble
Bertuzzi with Bedard going to be sick
Saw Vancouver. Turned off video
Sorry Rink Rat, had to unsubscribe after this dumbass take on the Bruins, pretty much proves you're just grasping at straws...peace 😂
Vancouver being on this list is wild
San Jose, I think, crushed it
Celebrini, then others. There are sleepers in the draft 2024, but it will take 5-10 yrs to crunch the results.
Ottawa got better. Ppl say they didnt. But they just exposed themselves not knowing PUCK
If Norris can stay healthy! 20 to 30 goals there
This sounds like someone commenting on a team they are only peripherally are aware of
I find it funny that all the original 6 teams are in the bottom three tiers
The questions about the Panthers defense are pretty much the same things that were said about that defense before last season. And it wasn't just the injuries, it was the names of the players. I mean the additions of Mikkola, OEL, and Kulikov. No one thought that was an above average defense. I think a good defensive team is not so much about the names of the players, but the system that they play. And that the entire team plays with good defensive structure, not just the defensemen. The PP issue isn't as bad as one might think, because Montour struggled as the PP QB for long stretches with the Panthers. And when OEL stepped in he was okish, but wasn't moving the needle too much. I'm not saying it's a guarantee that they pick right back up being an elite defensive team. But I'd say it's just as good of a chance that they do (an even better chance IMO), as is it that they struggle.
They’re not gonna have the energy by the end of the season after two runs
@@edited1325 It's possible. But at this point nothing is set concrete either way.
as a canucks fan, who watch most of the games this season. I believe you are wrong. ilya was a cone on offense scored 1 goal in 60 games and had a breakaway in game 7 against skinner hits the side of the net. lindholm and zadorov are okay but didn't do much in regular season until playoffs hit. it was great having them score but, what the bruins paid for the both of them was a reach i don't think they are bad just not as good as what they were paid. jake debrusk on the other hand gets a fresh start alongside a norris winner, 100 point per game player and petterson maybe another 100 point per game player. 5.5 was great and we are under the cap. we changed myers D game aswell Huggys. also I Expect podkolson, hogs to take a step up. ALSO having lekkermaki, lil petey and wallinder in the ahl skys the limit. The bruins don't have that talent because they are trying to compete like pens or caps. that doesn't mean they are gonna be bad its just they reaching like the canucks did with OEL and Loui eriksson instead trying to reset. The main thing is having gonchar a 2 time cup winner as your defense coach is a big asset and having the twins for player dev is insane. most of your staff have made the finals in the last 25 years and have that playoff culture in them.
Fla will win the Atlantic again and be in ECF again. They'll be just fine.
Bad take on the canucks
People kept doubting the Nucks preseason, Christmas break, trade deadline etc etc etc blah blah blah last season too. They feed on that, so thank you for adding to the fuel.
I had seen last regular season, going into that part of the hockey schedule, the Canucks potentially as a wildcard team, but ended up being blown away with their regular-season success and even in the postseason had some success too.
Really? Luchanko was a reach? Naw, a lot of people had him in top 15 or 20. Also Letourneau was picked right around the area he was expected.
Bro the LA Kings have a stranglehold on 3rd place in the weak Pacific.
I see in that division the: - Sharks, Ducks and Flames, in no particular order, likely finish no higher than sixth and thus automatically miss the 2025 postseason - Kraken and Kings be in the mix to finish fifth or higher - Golden Knights, Canucks and Oilers as strongest candidates to finish in that division’s top three
When I heard ilya mikheyev I think I almost died also we were great before zadorov and lindholm i think they’ll be fine
Horrible take on the Bruins tbh. That team is the most well-run organization in the NHL and they tend to find excellent fits for the roles the team needs. Looking forward to year number 99999 in a row where self-proclaimed hockey nerds miss the single most obvious pattern in the history of hockey AGAIN. Oh well. I'll take the layup path to looking like a god damn genius every single year by pointing out that this happens every single season
@@sonofthgweak d core? Zadorov isn’t a top 4 dman Zero depth in goal with Ullmark getting screwed over by Sweeney The top six is mid
@@edited1325 it is *corps* not core lmao (like marine CORPS) You may feel any which way you want but YOU haven't repeatedly defied the same prognostication made in this video about the Bruins the way everyone running that organization has. I list historic facts amd you come back with super subjective (and almpst certainly biased) opinions? Nothing is more mid than you my guy
The Bruins this coming season will have a lot to prove. Perhaps Joonas Korpisalo will be that diamond-in-the-rough in net for the Bruins although that trade last month with the Sens was interesting to say the least. There’s no doubt the Atlantic Division is a very tough division, and I believe that this coming season the Panthers, Leafs, Bruins, Bolts and Wings will be in the mix to finish top-5. To what degree if any the Sens, Sabres or Habs will make a push to finish in the top five of that division remains TBD.
@@sonofthgthat’s wild bro
@@wainber1 Habs ain’t doing anything Sens are still trash and the mid wings are irrelevant Panthers are gassed the bruins better pray swayman turns into prime Thomas or something and the lightning are a one line team The leafs are still the same regardless of the additions The top four will still be the leafs bruins panthers and lightning basically nothings changed The only way the dead wings make the playoffs is a WC spot since the metro is horrible
Sharks got so many pieces... interesting to see what they can do with them. And Kiviharju in 4th round is absoulutely insane, true he has some problems with injuries but when he's okay he's absoulute beast
The Sharks are gonna be a playoff team again in 2-3 seasons and then be a contender for many years going forward. It's a damn fine time to be a Sharks fan. And that's saying a lot considering they just had their worst season since their first 2 years as a franchise.
Flyers over achieved even this season but I'd say if they find someone between posts they could find themselfs fighting in PO spots
Canucks are definitely better now
sens will certainly be in trouble. Most important coaching hire in franchise history and Staios picked the worst option in RECORD TIME.
The Sens will be in tough to see playoff action in a competitive Eastern Conference, with a top-three divisional spot not looking likely.
The Kings could not have ran it back with the same soft group, they added much needed toughness to the lineup and they got a bunch of kids ready to break through, it's gonna be an interesting season.
Parascak looked great in the development camp and down the line, if he moves to LW he could be a really good feeder for Leonard. Washington doesn't have many open spots on the roster so if it takes 2 years for Parascak that's fine. As for his skating, that's what Wendy is for. Eiserman reminds me of Sprong. I don't think he ever becomes a franchise scorer.
Ilya michavev was horrible and lindholm was nothing special also yes zadorov had a break out year but don’t Kidd yourselves if Vancouver was healthy they would have won the cup
We cant keep saying this about Boston every year
One of these years they have to come back to Earth...right?
@@DaRinkRat with a young swayman and Pastrnak in his prime they ain’t going away anytime soon probably gonna be contending for the next 5 years
Not only that but I think the Bruins are going to be significantly better next year. Very bizarre take imo that this is what everyone says. The management, scouting, and coaching staff there are through the roof elite and yet internet hockey gurus never seem to be able to see this even tho the result is probably the most obvious pattern on Earth (as per your original comment)
Haters keep Hating lol. In every way they got better. Got a a 1st line center , got a brusing defensemen and got rid of a too small defensemen. Added grit and size in bottom 6 with Kastelic and Jones. I'm sure if Korpse flops as backup Bussi will fill in perfectly as he had outstanding numbers the last 2 years in Providence.
@@davepeach6832 the team is huge now it’s crazy it’s completely different from just a couple years ago when we had zero depth behind the perfection line and grzelyck on LD playing with mcavoy 🤮
I think even with the losses Florida will pull through for another deep run
They might be gassed from two runs The only team that I can think of that went to 3 finals in a row are the lightning in the salary cap era and that was with shortened seasons Even the penguins or Blackhawks couldn’t do it with prime Kane + toews and prime malkin + Crosby
@@edited1325 Probably not the finals this year, but maybe into the second round. Might be different if Spencer Knight goes on a heater, but that is a 'not for sure". He has done it before, but also slumped at times. SK is still very young - 23 I think.
As a Flyers fan it's understood that this past season was a massive overachievement. It's a given the team is going to be pretty bad for at least the next few seasons and after years of the failed Chuck Fletcher experiment, we're embracing the rebuild. Hoping Michkov is as good as advertised as Briere can build a contender around him in time.
Gotta feel about Carter Hart. He had his whole career ahead of him:(
@@FFSRayynah man, if hes guilty of the crime he can get fucked
he is literally the best player out of germany, how in the world are you sayin hes not the german gretzky?
I can assure you sabre fans and management did not expect Reinhart to fizzle out in Florida
To say a pick is a reach by comparing with journalist or with the awfull judgment of NHL Central is not understanding why NHL teams pay a fortune for a full time team to evaluate themselve... if your guy is available at the spot you're picking, you dont risk it for a 2nd rounder uncertainty
I’m a big believer in Marty, you’re giving Anderson and Pezzetta to work with, what do you want to do 😅
Crazy Marner disrespect
Cole Eiserman at 20, is the steal of draft. 🎉
Love the Eiserman pick, wanted the Caps to take him at 17. Think he's gonna be incredible in NY
I like your analysis, but I don’t think it can be the absolute worst contract when their cap hit is under $2 million. I think Edmundson and Zadorov got two of the worst contracts this offseason.
Sorry but saying suzuki wont pass 80 points when he had 77 with this team even with caufield not scoring to what we expected and not playing wtih slaf for a whole season is a really bad take.
6:28 If it wasn't for the ghost of Cam Neely still haunting the Canucks organization, Virtanen would have been moved a couple years before the allegations. He was big, and could skate, but that was it. He had no head for the game, and no finish. Plays died on his stick. Such potential just wasted.
Both MTL and Philly had beckett sennecke in their scope, CBJ didnt want to trade. If the ducks traded with anyone there was a chance they wouldve lost becket Demidov wasnt habs first choice
Horrible pick
Might not be such a massive reach.
