Salted lime is one of the methods used by the ancients to preserve lime during the lime season. It is not difficult to preserve the salted lime as it is well exposed to the sun during the lime season. Pack the salted lime that has been well seasoned in the hot sun for about 7-8 days in a clean, dry clay jar. The water should not be stirred here. In a well-squeezed bowl of lime juice, add as much chili powder, three or five turmeric powders as needed and boil the lime juice on the stove.After it is dried well, the dried lime should be poured to cover it. After that, by keeping it well closed and kept in a dry place for a few days, you can taste a delicious salty lime pickle.

ලුණු දෙහි යනු දෙහි සුලබ කාලයේදී පැරැන්නනන් විසින් දෙහි කල් තබා ගැනීමට භාවිත කල එක් ක්‍රමයකි.දෙහි සුලබ කාලයේදී හොඳින් අව්ව පායන නිසා ලුණු දැමූ වේලා ගැනීමට අපහසු වන්නේ නෑ.තද අව්වේ දින 7-8ක් පමණ හොඳින් වේලාගත් ලුණු දැමූ දෙහි පිරිසිදුව වියලි මැටි භාජනයකට අසුරා ගත යුතුයි.මෙහිදී වතුර කවලම් කර නොගත යුතුයි .අනතුරුව හොඳින් මිරිකා ගත් දෙහි ඉස්ම බදුනකට මිරිස්කුඩු,තුනපහ කුඩු කහ කුඩු අවශ්‍ය පමණ එක් කර එම දෙහි ඉස්ම ටික ලිප තබා උතුරවා හොඳින් නිවුනු පසු වේලාගත් දෙහි ටික වැසෙන සේ වත් කර ගත යුතුයි .ඉන්පසු එය හොඳින් වසා දින කිහිපයක් වියලි ස්‍ථානයක තැබීමෙන් රසවත් ලුණු දෙහි අච්චාරුවක් රස බැලීමට හැකියි.මෙය පොල් සම්බෝල සමග සුදු බත් වේලක රස බැලීමට කදිමයි.දෙහි නොමැති වේලාවක පොල් සම්බෝලය රසවත් කිරීමට උනත් ගත හැකියි.
