The developers traded their game design to a griefing subculture for early fan support on forums, which now insists it's part of the game. Luckily I was able to refund the game and dissuade friends from wasting their time and money. The game went from a potential sci-fi classic to a really toxic joke.

Great video, the scenery compliments it well. It doesn't go overboard with the amount of cabinets, keeps it at a digestable rate. "I wont sugercoat it".
One of the things I love about barotrauma is that despite my fear of the monsters that lurk within the abyssal ocean I can always feel safe piloting a sub. Captain somehow alleviates that fear maybe through a sense of being able to control the situation. But seeing this video in a way brings back that fear to me and I realize now that if this game was in first person I wouldn’t be able to ever leave the captain’s terminal at all. Good meme.

how to be dr livesey in barotrauma (become based gigachad who makes others so fucking strong) step 1 : ask the server owner to add one of those genes extensions mods or basically anything else that improves doctor by a lot step 2 : whatever you have, use it to its fullest and exploit all of its advantages entirely, your crew will become indestructable within time step 3 : give others the husk genes and make them do the ultimate sacrifice making them unable to talk but basically strong af (if i remember correctly, it protects u from depth and no oxygen debuff) step 4 : make sure to not give the clown all of the buffs as they are mentally unstable step 5 (optional) : if you believe that the mod the server uses is not strong enough then convince the owner to get another mod which makes you even stronger step 6 : overdose on ethanol and give drugs to the entire crew while fighting the doomworm step 6.5 : save them if you havent died from all that ethanol yet step 7 : carry everyone through the game (they never wouldve made it this far without a mentally unstable based gigachad on their side)

Pov: you forgot to turn off sonar when exploring a cave to do a mining mission
Using the sonar to lure out cave dwellers, because there are always monsters in the caves, is a good strategy for mining and nest removal missions. Just use a diver to enter the cave to spawn in and agro the monsters, and then just lead them to your ships turrets.
