1) Subaru is Bettie's mana source, but his gate is in shambles, so it doesn't work properly (he broke it due to using shamak way too much and Petelgeuse's witch factor). From just the little amount of mana Subaru can "explode", whatever that means, it's pretty bad. So Bettie has to take his mana pretty much constantly, even though the charge goes very small and very slowly, because, once again Subaru's gate is completely broken. 2) Reinhard did not kill Puck, this nonsense came from one of the loops (Subaru's 2nd trial from the Sanctuary, to be precise). Puck is just chilling, because he had to break the pact with Emilia for her sake, so the rest of the story (not sure until when, I'm at Arc 6 right now), they'll restore their pact once the proper crystal replacement is going to be found, and Puck will settle in properly.

I mean Kuma wasn't wrong about there probably being akward moments (aka all of ep 13)
