We visited here when we were travelling through several years ago. It was virtually empty but for me, as a fan of the film and book it was amazing. I hate to be picky but Mrs Threadgood wasn't Idgie, she says in the movie that she was married to Idgie's younger brother.

Champion has 3500 running watts. On my second one now. First one had a catastrophic failure. Darn. However the shining star to this story was the fact that after inspection Champion sent me a new 4500 to replace it. I have owned 6 Champion generators and found them to back their product 100% I have 4 units now. It should be known that I sold Honda and Yamaha generators for 12 years. They have great products at a much higher premium. Always had them being repaired in the shop even still. Most damages are due to lack of maintenance. Same with champion you have to follow maintenance directions to get the most out of a generator regardless of who makes it.

They are all junk, so if you think your in good shape buying a new one you are wrong! They are all junk right out of the dealers lot. Build your own on a heavy duty trailer. Then you know what you have.

Visited there on our way to Florida and had the fried tomatoes, so good. They said the bbq was going out back, nope weren't eating that. 😂

I own 8 generators (don't ask...) and four of them are made by Champion. All of their models are well built and very important, service and warranty are available. Still use the Honda EU6500 for home backup but for other use, you can't beat generators made by Champion

Id like to see videos of how people make it that dont have assets to sell to have 100s of thousands in the bank. Like a family who just cant get ahead with the rising cost of everything that kuat wants to say screw it, work will come and go but damn im tired of not being where i want despite worling my butt off

I've had this exact generator now for over 3 years now with 225 hrs. run time on it and its great! I also have a Predator 3500 in my racecar trailer which I use to run my air compressor, winch, lights and charge my onboard battery. Like you I can only run one of my AC's with the microwave but that's enough for me. Love the way you have yours mounted! I keep Champion on a bumper aluminum storage rack with ratchet straps and that seems to work for me.

omg!!! yes!! i've had 3 predator 3500watt inverters and all have died after 3000 hours and a pain in the butt to change the oil. I got the champion 4650 and i have 6K hours on it, it looks exactly like yours. it's fantastic! it's going strong and the oil change is SO EASY! dont waster your money on a predator. get this one instead.

My rv built in generator broke down and to $$$ to replace so got this remote start champion at a fraction of the cost and mounted it on hitch so with the remote start it works just like a built in rv generator where you dont have to get off of rv to turn on and off.....love this thing with the click of a button from the comfort of inside

You do know that everyone is different and variables that your video that copies like 400 others. We full timed for 13 yrs, and then bought a 2300 sq ft house in the state with the best houses prices out west, and the house cost me almost double monthly, maybe a little more sometimes. But you tube is showing 10 other videos exactly like yours, you tube is killing the rv lifestyle.

I just bought one and returned it same day. All I did was open the camper door and turn on the a/c. That pos started smoking...I have only owned a camper for 2 days. Nothing else was on. On ly the a/c...30 amp 2020 camper. Complete waist of time. Thanks for nothing.

Do you have any solid information on traveling with dogs? Any suggestions for the security of the RV and temperature control etc to keep them safe in the RV? The plan is to do a hotel on work days to keep them safe and secure. This will cost money and take away from the purpose of RVing goals, but at the moment I don't have any solid information that gives me peace of mind. I have been doing my homework and am going to get a high quality thermostat with the Internet etc...My concern is still the security of the RV from theft and temperature control.

Im thinking about getting a small one with the important parts like a shower, toilet, kitchen, and queen bed cuz I’m 23 rn and started college this past January and don’t want to continue living in the house with my grandmother and her brother cuz the brother and I srsly don’t get along and I want to put the trailer just beside the house that’s all.

I've been there before and the sites are WAY too close together.

I’ll give you a valuable tip….. take your camper apart and replace the insulation with KAO WOOL… wrap everything with it……, it doesn’t burn… and it doesn’t let hot or cold through it…. It’s used in furnaces for melting metal…… you will be in an oven in the winter and a refrigerator in the summer…

Doe the additional length with generator on the back affect where you can camp? We are looking at a hoist to take in and out of our truck. Only because I'm old and have joint replacement and can't lift 100 plus lbs.
