Great place, great video Brian 🤙
Can you share coordinates 12:00 😍 thank you !
Nice video, nice area. 👍😎
Thanks 👍
Jeez Amir you got everything else except rock sliders. Whats up with that?
He’s shopping now.
You roasted Amir to no end. What a great video for you two to look back on. Let’s hope he forgets about the jokes when you’re in the dentist chair. 😂
Hahahaha! He’s such a good sport.
As always great work Brian !!!
Thanks again!
Brian what trash a roo type bag is that on your tailgate? I am always cleaning and gathering trash on trails and like the bag you got…..
It’s made by AllTop I believe.
Awesome video Brian! I got to get my Gladiator out there with yours…… Keep em coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Not sure since I do not know the trail, but based on your footage I'd say a full-size truck on 37s (and a lift) should have no problems doing the same route (pin-striping included of course, but height)?
Height I think would be fine but yeah some of the spots were really narrow and overgrown
Absolutely stunning scenery! Looking forward to the rest of the videos in the series
Right on! Working on part 2 now!
It’s a Tacoma right of passage, Amir. 🤙🏽
Hahaha! True true
that fishing spot was absolutely awesome dude! such a beautiful area, im jealous.
Hey Buddy! I’ll take you there one of these days!
You started this trip in my back yard and I think I recognized some of the first dirt road you were on but I haven't explored much of that area south of Graeagle. We did go down into Poker Flat last year which would be west of where you were I think, you ought to try that one someday. As usual great video and snarky humor!
Hahaha! Yeah Poker Flat is on my list
Nice job Brian! I seriously loved this video. I think you did it better than me and I was cracking up man. 🤣 Amir seems like a great dude... just needs some rock sliders. 👍
Yeah he's a good sport. lol
I can’t believe the hellwig shredded like that…😂 great vid bro!
Yeah. Even they were shocked. Thanks bud!
Nice video Brian, well done! Plumas and Tahoe NF are two of my favorite places to explore!
Thanks man! I was talking to Jeff and we were trying to figure out how to lure you out to teach us how to fly fish. lol. Wait til you see the size of the brook trout I caught in part 3! Thank for watching!
Fun run!!
Yeah, such a fun trail.
Awesome adventure 👍
Thanks for checking it out!
3:36 "high clearance" hahaha the most ominous/non-standardized unit of measurement in off roading, it almost has no real meaning or warning... trails/people say: "high clearance is needed" ok what constitutes HIGH clearance? whats the minimum amount to be considered "high"? the new wilderness subarus with all the plastic has almost the same clearance as my trailblazer when it was on 31s and i was still doing level 4 blue trails.... high clearance is suggested for bowman lake... and yet... subarus and stock fullsize pick ups on it all day(mightve been rough but theyre still up there.) high clearance is an over simplified way of saying whats really needed to be listed: "4wd, all terrain tires, 33, 35, 40" inch tires, locking diff/transfer case needed"
My clicking in my jku was the front driveshaft. Not sure what yours is but check out that driveshaft where the joint is. Thanks for the vid.
That’s only 2hrs away from me 🤘🏻
Although I know it’s not the same I just camped over the weekend with my pup for the first time without the kid and wife and of course I thought I can’t wait to be able to take my little girl to camp just us ! And this just puts the icing on the cake reassuring me that us fathers have it in us to be able to keep our kids in the great outdoors! Thanks Brian great work !
Right on. I’m excited for you!
I’m planning to take my 5 year old daughter soon as I get my roof top tent !! I also have a gladiator I’m up here in northern California
That is awesome! Have a great time!
Brian you're a total girl dad 👍 priceless
Hahaha! Love my girl. Thank you
My son is in his 50's now but I spent plenty of time with him years ago making memories like this, great going Brian!
And I’m sure he will never forget them. Thanks again
The memories bro is what it's all about. As father myself it's paramount to experience as much as you can with your children, it's the best life has to offer. Thanks for sharing
Well said! Thank you for watching
loves being on the trail, hates being on camera, just like my daughter that is 11 ha ha ha
Hahaha! She hates it and she loves it. Lol
Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost both my parents 49 days apart last year. I moved to Utah for the nature. I don't want to miss out on another second in life.
Nice video. Building memories. I take my 7 year old on all our off-road trips, he loves it. It was a beautiful camp and spending quality time and bonding with your daughter is priceless. 😊
That’s so great to hear. Time goes by too fast. Thanks for watching
wow
Where is that lake?
It’s secret lake
@@leeroyadams666 thanks !!
I literally laughed loud at 2:45 when you asked your daughter "are you ready to kill it...gut it?' her facial expression was priceless.
Hahaha! Yeah it may have been a good thing we didn’t catch anything.
Nice video, I remember backpacking with my daughter years ago those memories stay with you forever, sure would love to have some of that time back. 👍
It goes by way too fast 😢
@@losburrosoverland Agreed
Great video Brian! You have such a beautiful family kids are adorable and in the end your such a great father! Keep up the great work man you bring so many memories for me when my babies were...babies! Now with my "Lil" girl 22 and married now and my true baby my son Isaac turning 20 i ask myself where has all the time gone?! :( Now i have your channel to keep those memories alive thank you Brian until the next adventure.
That is so awesome! Thanks so much for sharing
Awesome video. I miss hanging out with my daughter on trips.
Thanks for watching! Drag her out on one again!
You’re a good dad Brian. I have three kids. The middle one is my 12 year old daughter. I try to take them out as often as I can which unfortunately isn’t as as I would like. Life is way too busy.
I hear ya! Thanks so much. All we can do is try right?
Pretty cool 👍
Thanks!
Just wonderful, Brian! Thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Did you let her drive? I started teaching 12 years olds to drive.
I let her sit on my lap and steer sometimes. She loves it
You do a good Jim Ignatowski impression
Hahaha! I wonder if that’s where I got it. Lol
As viewers watch daughter learning life lessons, we learn life lessons about life lessons.
Couple decades ago, we camped at Bowman Lake in the fall. The lake level had been drawn down to almost nothing. Could be that happens too often (with all of our CA droughts). Takes many years for the fish population to recover.
Yeah I bet
Brian! This was awesome. Your kids are freaking adorable man. You're nailing it with great messages.
Thanks Jeff!
This is Adam from East County Overlanders and i absolutely love the way you narrate and do your videos!! Another great episode. Keep up the good work and hopefully I’ll see you on the trails one day.
So relaxing Thank you!!! Let us know the beautiful nature 👍😍
Thanks for collecting that trash! Last time I was up there, two full bags collected. Lead by example…
the newer the truck the dumber the problems. jeeps are the most robustly fragile trucks. put 30k into it and do the rubicon in reverse or keep it stock and sneeze inside of it... it will break for any reason in between
power lines click when the air is damp/cool and the high voltage is basically zapping the electrons out of the air
You are in my stomping grounds. I knew you were heading to Pinecrest Peak before you said it because I recognized literal trees on Herring Creek road in the video. Locals have names for the campsites. The overlook is just called "the lookout". You can see a bunch of valley towns from there at night. Also camped at the second spot with a view featured. That's a great spot as well. Views of Eagle Peak, Bear Valley, and the Dardanelles.
It’s really a special place. Thanks for letting me sleep in your backyard! And thanks for watching!
Nice fire! Confirm there are current fire restrictions in the STANISLAUS NF
The area he was camping is currently classified as LOW fire danger. Fires are allowed right now with a permit. Maps are available on the Stanislaus NF website.
Yeah saw the map before i commented I guess he is outside of the moderate area barely. But damn why risk it when it’s been so hot anyway
At the time fires were still allowed with a permit. I also drowned it dead out before I went to sleep. I’m very careful with fire in these places. Thanks for watching
