This is an old steel, iron, and brass toy steam engine. After it was delivered, it seemed like it should run at least on air. It does.

Just a really small Stirling Engine that has a nice feature. There's a magnet on the bottom of the burner to hold it in place.

Carette would add the letter "P" at the end of the numbers to signify a model that included a water pump. This one has the reverse mechanism. I have found no mention of an additional designation number or letter for reverse, in any publications on the companies history.

ВОТ ЭТО Я ПОНИМАЮ ОБОРОТЫ, КРАСАВЧИК
nice one!
Never ceases to amaze me how many people believe these engines cannot be throttled. These engines were developed in cars at one point.
And the Swedes drive their Gotland-class subs with -- certainly must have a throttle.
Hey is it possible for you to send me a blue print to create your engine
I bought this same one. It won't start idk why
So the throttle is controlling the cold air return great
I guess the speed is around between 1200rpm and 1400rpm.
Are you ever worried about the glass cracking?
I just ordered one of these from Stirlingkit. Looking forward to running it.
Awesome!!!
Wonder what effect of putting an ice cube in the cool part.
I’ve been trying to understand how Stirling engines really work. Watched dozens of videos and just when i think i understand it, i see this baby which wiped out all my notions. The horizontal flywheel sure makes a ton of sense
Think of it as a closed loop. Inside the large glass bulb in a smaller bulb that moves back and forth to close off the glass chamber between the two glass bulbs. When the air inside the glass bulb becomes hot it pushes the smaller glass bulb inward while the air inside is expending due to heat and rushing out of the chamber as it closes. Then the hot air flows to the cold piston where the hot air will first push the piston out. When the air inside the cylinder cools it contracts pulling the cylinder back in and the same air goes back to the bulb pushing it open for the cold air to enter the chamber and repeat.
That's a great job 👍
AMAZING WASTED TECHNOLOGY.. REPLACED .. HIGH FUEL ⛽️ PRICES.. & EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE LITHIUM BATTERIES 🔋 YIKES .. 😬
I love the simplicity of Stirlings, and that one is really nice , thanks for showing
good show...
Chunky flame gulper there, Old Chum 👍
I have this one…
I wonder what the power output of this small regulateable sterling engine.
fabulous... ❤
How…
"Just because it's going slower doesn't mean it gets better fuel economy", is a quote everyone on the road needs to hear. Fuel economy is dependent on your peak torque RPM, or in a sterling engine's case, the faster it goes the more efficient since what consumes fuel stays consistent.
Spark ignition engines aren't efficient at part throttle either.
What is the rpm of the flywheel? It’s screaming. But, can it be used for work? Like a generator for cellphone or LED light?
Your engine definitely has a knock lol
Awesome little contraption!! I just subscribed!! Two questions, 1 how much did it cost? 2 what kind of fuel does it need?
The engine can use any heat source.... just got to get it under/around the glass bulb.
nice performance! Congratulations!
Do you have a video on how these engines operate?
You Tube has plenty
Very Bealtiful my friend! Parabéns, eu gosto muito deates motores!🙏🙏👏👏👏🙌😊😊😊
Ahtom can you please help me to find and buy one of those, I really love your show and it's exactly what I enjoy doing and very therapeutic bro, thank you.
As a newbie I would have liked to know a bit more about the "extra components"... clearly that design has some interesting thing'ah-mabobs attached. And the main "bulb" really looked like it was built by aliens (space:). I'm not really sure what is driving what. But I enjoyed your video either way. Thank you. Cheers
Where can I buy this?
Very Good....
Now you can hook up a small d.c. motor to act as an Generator to run a led light, or recharge a cell phone!! Cool!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!! ALLELUIA!!!!! AMEN!!!!! 5.16.22.A.D.
thanks tom
That is interesting.
I have never seen a Stirling with no connection between the displacer and power pistons.
Why did you start in wrong direction? :) Does not you feel it?
Cool little motor.
I want this type of engine in free
Op
А сколько такой стоит ?
Wish we could have seen the working side
One of the long -standing problems with Stirling and other heat engines has been the inability to regulate or throttle them like internal-combustion engines; now we can with this kind of Stirling engine!
Reducing power is what you think the problem is?
What moves the displacer?
I object to use of "she" referring to cars or machines. They are not gender assigned. They are things.
OMG !!!! DRY UP !
Cope
Objection noted and promptly discarded.
What about dildos?
One can anthropomorphize ANYTHING! Sheesh! Even a rock!
So... In theory, this could be governed by a ball governor as well.
i liked 0 rpm that was cool
Wow. Can’t find this on the internet . Can your provide a link? Thanks so much for filming the demo
Great
