Few years ago, my church in Ghana bought their land for $1.5 million for 4 plots. Last year the church sold just one plot for 1 million dollars, the in-flock of Asians and European businesses men has brought lots of value for properties in Ghana. Those who sold the land are not stupid to be selling this property for that amount, they know the value and how it will appreciate in no time.

people are giving snide remarks because black people never understand value in ANYTHING 😅 except buying the latest trainers and flashy car. We are just slow coaches. You know nothing about property value. This is a big fucking steal of a price. EVEM THE LAND ALONE IN THAT AREA SHOULD COST A MILLION PLUS. learn about investment. This is not about buying Air Jordan or Nike😅😅 . If I had that kind of money , I will buy it , develop it into apartments or a gated community and sell them off.

What are the average salary levels in Ghana? How many people in Ghana can afford housing? What's the level of development and infrastructure in Ghana for them to make such atrocious price demands? Nothing makes sense in Ghana.

@@JonGreeny what a set of silly questions to ask ! I don’t think you understand how property works around the world . But Since you ask , I will have the courtesy to respond to you. - what has the price of property and land got to do with the average salary of Ghanaians?? He or she is not selling it to the AVERAGE GHANAIAN , they have their TARGET MARKET AND ITS FOR THE RICH INVESTOR/ DEVELOPERS IN GHANA. AND YES THERE VERY RICH PEOPLE IN GHANA/ AFRICA - CONTRARY TO WHAT CNN AND BBC KEEP TELLING YOU. Secondly, regardless of the state of our infrastructure , MOST GHANAIANS STILL WANNA LIVE, AND ESPECIALLY THE WISE RICH ENTREPRENEURS AND BUSINESS MEN AND WOMEN- THEY DONT WANT TO LEAVE THEIR MOTHER LAND ,INSTEAD THEY SEE OPPORTUNITIES LITTERED EVERYWHERE ON THIS LAND - SOMETHING THAT OUR DIASPORA BROTHERS AND SISTERS CANT SEE BUT THE CHINESE, LEBANESE, INDIANS ARE ABLE TO SEE. DIASPORAS ALWAYS WANT THINGS READY BAKED AND GLOSSY, BEFORE THEY INVEST. LIKE I SAIDI WOULD GRAB IT IF I HAD THAT KIND OF MONEY.

A great fixer upper. If someone can get the land for half the price and can invest another 300k, you can sell for $ 1 million USD. Hopefully, the neighborhood is closer to other prime properties. This is like buying an acre in DC or NYC. The old property doesn’t count. Buy for 350k and fix it.

It's obvious to anybody who has purchased a property anywhere that this building isn't worth anything like the price being asked. I've said it before and will say it again there will be a massive property crash in land and property prices in Ghana and worldwide so u don't want to be the one left holding the bag. If not for money laundering of the Ghanaian elite there is no way anyone could be as bold as to ask for $700k for that. Overtime prices will find their true value

Yeah, they in la la land. Ain’t no way in the world I’d pay $700K usd for that. Are the sidewalks, closed gutters, perfectly paved roads and a light rail train station within a half mile radius of the home??? Does garbage, recycling and yard waste get picked up every week? The borehole, advanced solar system and immaculate infrastructure would already need to be in place. The noise from next door is definitely a deal breaker.
