You mentioned self harm and when I grew up and I was smoking ganja and using mushrooms and acid and ecstasy and then heroin and crack i did it because I wanted to get high and have a good time with friends but when I relapsed it was the very thing I didn't want to do but I did it to punish myself and hurt myself and the whole using has been on my own in the naughty corner feeling like a disgusting worthless failure and I saw it was exactly what people do when they cut themselves on their arms with a razor blade and i was using against my will and I was hurting myself with the biggest stick i could find and then I was doing things that I have never done before like okay you think I'm that then I will be it and I was becoming the very thing i didn't want to become.. okay yes I can bet there has been contributing factors such as the issues with my family and I was treated badly by some people who were supposed to be Christian brothers and friends and they were not there to say hey you are doing well during the time when I was doing well and in the treatment for hepatitis i think I felt like it was a punishment for the bad things I had done like a debt i owed.. because of my situation although I'm told that God accepts me for where I am it's hard to move forward in faith when you are scared out of your mind and then I don't receive the help of God because he can't force me.... And the anxiety is in the rafters and the whole thing of feeling i have brought down my family because of the condition... All i can do now is ask him to intervene and cause favour of where I can find confidence and faith to get back up and fight.

I'm going to be honest about the issues I found myself in with my life and my addiction and my walk with the lord.. I came to christ when I was 17 and I didn't take jesus seriously enough to abide and obey.. in 97 i was on methadone and using H and weed etc.. I went into treatment and it was just a detox but I was very very ill and I came off a high dose of methadone and I lasted seven and half years and I found out that I had hepatitis c and I went through the first kind of treatment for hepatitis and it made me extremely ill and they kept me on it for a year.. When the treatment finished i was having problems in church and I didn't feel comfortable in na meetings and I thought it was just the past on repeat when I had walked in the freedom and strength of Jesus anyway i relapsed and I am now still on methadone and using.... I'm now willing to go to na meetings and church and I've been told that I might be able to go into a detox place and get stable and stop using and then I can either stay and reduce my script or come out and get some help until I'm ready to go back in to detox.... If anyone is reading this please pray for me and if you have any advice then I would be more than grateful... Praise God for this ministry and channel.... Lord it's going to be hard and I'm in more of the dirt than I realise and certainly dare to admit...

Well, you ain't gonna give Jesus' phone number now are you? Yeah yeah, the only way to talk to Jesus is through the church. But that makes a new problem, listen to this short again with "the church" instead of "Jesus", and tell me it sounds legit. (Imagine if an HOA talked like this, or a politician.) He's basically saying, tell the church your weakness, how you can be hurt, and what the limits of your defenses are, then give that power over. A real "just trust me bro" moment, except he ain't even your bro. Just join a book club instead...
