DOOM 3 running on Mi Box (Local gameplay with Delta Touch)
Internal render resolution is reduced from 1080p to 1366 x 768 to improve framerate. FPS fluctuates between 20 and 30 depending on scene complexity and lighting effects. "Resurrection of Evil" and "The Lost Mission" expansions also work.

RetroArch on Windows XP (Running in VirtualBox)

Test if RetroArch still runs on Windows XP. Core selection is very limited. "Genesis Plus GX" core crashes and two MAME cores won't display graphics (blackscreen with sound only), which might be caused by emulated VGA graphics in virtual machine. Other cores do run alright (again slowdown is most likely caused by virtual machine).

Quick test of several RetroArch cores on NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano. Most cores work very well on this SBC with the exception of "Beetle PCE Fast" core. "Castlevania: Rondo of Blood" doesn't work properly with "Beetle PCE Fast" core, but works fine with "Beetle SuperGrafx" core. Video capture for PSX emulation is really bad with lots of compression artifacts because Jetson Nano GPU has to do H.264...

SwanStation core allows you to use GPU renderer in lightgun game with crosshair on screen. So you can use internal resolution upscaling and PGXP-based graphics enhancement for PS1 games. Here, I used mouse as Namco GunCon controller. With "Beetle PSX HW" core, crosshair will not show up on screen in lightgun games if GPU renderer is used.

Shantae (GBC) running on PSP with Gambatte core in RetroArch. Color is a little bit washed out when compared to newer emulators, like mGBA. I had to load a save state to pass the opeing sequence because it's impossible to make a forward jump with one hand. Single-slot adapter for PSP working with 256GB Micro SD card

This 256GB Sandisk card is formatted on PSP with a new UCEC dual-slot adapter I recently purchased on its Amazon store. But PSP won't read it with this dual-slot adapter after the formatting. But when I took out this Micro SD card and inserted it into an old single-slot adapter, it works perfectly fine on PSP.

The new UCEC dual-slot adapter I recently bought from its Amazon store doesn't work with 256GB Micro SD card after formatting it with PSP-3000. Ironically, this 256GB card is actually formatted properly and works fine on PSP after I took it out from this dual-slot adapter and inserted it into an old single-slot adapter.

Testing Gambatte core and mGBA core in RetroArch on PSP-3000 with a few GBC games. AFAIK, Gambatte core in RetroArch is the only way to run NASCAR 2000 at full speed during race. mGBA core produces better color but can't run GBC games at full speed on PSP.
VF3 with MAME core in RetroArch

Just want to see if there is any improvement with Model 3 emulation in MAME. It's certainly better than 1 year ago. But I still won't consider that as playable. Use Supermodel 3 for Model 3 emulation.

Quick test of RetroArch gpSP & mGBA cores on PSP 3000. First running "Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow" with gpSP core. Then tested "Double Dragon Advance" with mGBA core. gpSP core has intermittent slowdowns but playable overall. Overclocking PSP might help. mGBA core is too slow on PSP. For those who failed to use more than 128GB capacity micro SD card, please make sure that your PSP is modded with a CFW first. Whether PRO or LME type of CFW. And don't use the dual slot card adapter (usually the white color one) because the recent "clone" built is so fragile, low quality and stuck with the limit of 128GB only. Use what this video shows.
128gb is enough for me on this device especially when i have a modded vita that has a eshop on it anyway

I managed to get this working myself. Found a tutorial on the PSP Subreddit and it was simple after that. I wonder what kind of storage limit would be possible on these PSPs. FAT32's theoretical limit is 2TB, but I doubt that is the limit the PSP can actually read.
the limit of is 128gb if your using the sd card adqptor cuz if go pass 100gbs the data will starts to get corrup.

you might need to format the card then in the psp.

dude don't use the two sd card adaptors cuz it's doesn't play nice with psp at all. you need to use the single one.

How much speed is your internet? And what Type of router you have? 5Ghz or 2.4 Ghz?
Arris SURFboard SBG6700-AC, 5GHz WIFI, download speed is ~60 Mbps on Mi Box. If WIFI speed on Mi Box is not fast enough for some reason, a compatible USB Ethernet adapter may help (www.reddit.com/r/AndroidTV/comments/5xtiye/mi_box_usb_ethernet_dongle_testing/).

Yes, you can move save files between them through USB drive or FTP. They are perfectly compatible with each other. PSTV uses Sony's built-in PSP emulator for PSP games.
So the PSTV supports USB? So it is as simple as plugging the USB device into the back, transfer save files to it, then plugging into the computer with my PSP and dragging/dropping? Also is this for a modded PSTV, unmodded, or both? You may have sold me on a PSTV, and given me a reason to pick my OSSC over my Framemeister for retro gaming as well.
Yes, that's one way to transfer save files. I sometimes FTP save files from PSTV to my phone's cloud drive and sync them to my computer.
You have to hack PSTV to enable USB drive support for running Vita or PSP games. On an un-modded PSTV, you can only use its USB port for firmware upgrade. That's just how ridiculous Sony is.

I used a PSTV, not PSP. It can play all PSP games with Adrenaline hack (github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline ). I made this video to show a friend of mine how bad it looks compared to PPSSPP emulator (czcams.com/video/pqNnsPvPw-o/video.html ). I just got a PSP-3000 recently and was considering getting a component cable. Very curious of the difference.
Haojie Zhu lol ok. It looks like you are playing with a normal psp on the TV. I got a PSP Go and it looks like crap on a 50 inch TV as the picture it's displaying is just a maybe 30 inch Square in the middle of the TV. PPSSPP is way better!
