Brilliant, watched the whole playlist…🎷🎸🎹🥁🎤😁
Thank you so much!
Excellent anecdote! Thank you!
Love these blues!
Absolutely fantastic !!
Came back to watch again.. spectacular. I forgot to mention I sold my Iris Blue 1964 MGB 3 years ago and regretted the sale immediately. So, now the 63. Next, I hope to find an elusive 62.
Excellent pastime! I used to spend my time visiting country pubs in Yorkshire in my 1964 MGB roadster in the 1970s. I don't think they were appropriate then as much as they are now
Back for my 6 month visit.
I must make a new one!
@@GerardStamp Please do . Considering I have liked and subscribed... you owe me : )
It was time to come visit this again... short and sweet.
An insufferable bore.
Conceited old bore!
Put a sock in it you insufferable old bore.
I thought that looked like my home of Norfolk when I saw the round tower church, then I see him pull up at the Gunton Arms PH! Nice place for a pint.
Indeed it is! And the church is All Saints Alby.
Wonderful!!
Excellent! - great music and the perfect venue!
I will now be forced to visit it and its slightly inferior tower.
Words have left the building
Classy ! I enjoy your videos very much. I own a 1963 MGB Thanks from Oregon USA
Had to come back and watch again !!! PS Larry Adler was an American Harmonica player and composer who relocated to England in the midst of the McCarthy witch hunt of the late 40s early 50s.
I didn't know that - thank you!
@@GerardStamp PS I have a LARRY ADLER Signature HOHNER Chromatic Harmonica.

A great film Gerard , have done a few films myself of my MGB , but your film is a level above . Your car looks fab . Well done !
Thank you! Fun to do.
I had a 65 roadster in 1975 same colour and same wheels, now got a 72 GT Blaze orange, great British classic !
I love MGs. Have had Midget, B and BGT in the past. Next time you are going to pub can you please take me as well? I get you a pint!
I had a 1965 MG-B which had same body colour and trim colour. I would like to have it again!!!! And want to drive the British countryside.
Vroooom....how about that pint mate!
Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime (Bundesabgasbespassungsverbotsverordnung)!!!
thanks for this soothing little clip😌, my '72 BGT has no country roads or local pubs to enjoy, stuck in a horrid American city
I had just gotten my drivers license at 16 when my uncle bought a new 63 roadster in light blue. It was the first sports car I ever drove, and it got me hooked. I’ve since owned 3 Midgets, an MGB, and a 63 Etype.
♥♥ Old English White with a red interior - classic early MGB combination! Lovely to see it on its native roads headed to the local! 👍👍👏👏
Not quite - Chelsea Grey with red interior!
@@GerardStamp 😄 I dithered on that and went with OEW, but Chelsea Grey was on my mind, too. It's a much rarer color. I'll chalk it up to screen color rendition not being all it could be. Cheers!!!
Beautiful. I wish it was a longer video.
Thank you - I might do another soon!
@@GerardStamp yes please. I love seeing your countryside scenery from your MG. My dream is to ship my little roadster to Europe and drive through the countryside and small towns. I'd better get to it as the years are going by too fast for me! 🤣
@@ernestocabrera876 make sure you pick some nice dry weather!
Great video!
Thank you!
Great video…s

And to you!
Enjoyed the video so much decided to come back and watch again. Thanks from Oregon USA
Thanks Jeff, getting a bit chilly with the roof down now!
So you drive to a Pub in MGB and afterwards drive home DUI. Very smart.
Message to all trolls: soft drinks are available.
Acuridge 38........I am certain your 4 subscribers on your Tube channel support you. What is it like having an IQ of 38?
That is a lovely B! Love the solid wheels.. One of the best cars to come out of Great Britain! Mike 🇨🇦🍁👍
@@rrmcbride555 Haha...that is odd...I have never had to have my B towed? Pretty reliable car as long as you take care of it. Have a good day! Mike 🇨🇦 🍁 👍
@@rrmcbride555 Haha...Robert I had an 81 Z28 4 SPD Which I dearly loved. I totally understand the Lucas thing (Prince of Darkness, inventor of intermittent wipers, etc.) On British engineered cars. My experience has been pretty good with British Cars (Rover 3500, MGB, MGC, etc.) they of course all have/had their quirks. I have always been a car guy and can honestly say I have always had cars that run when they are supposed to (for the most part) and am able to perform 95%of my own repairs in my own work shop. Sorry you had issues with yours that sucks, my brother in law had a 67 MGB and he loved it but never had the ability to fix things himself or the money to take it to the dealer. So he moved on to Italian cars....guess what his experience was with those! Anyway....have a great day and keep smiling! Mike 🇨🇦 🍁
@@rrmcbride555 that is a pretty nice car...probably one of the best Fiats built Have a great night! Mike 🇨🇦 🍁 👍
And the spoked steering wheel.
Lovely video - MGBs and pubs, what's not to like. I made this video which asked whether the 'B' is the perfect everyday classic: czcams.com/video/XklaMiZ9Yz4/video.html
Yes I watched it a while ago, very good!
Fascinating stuff... 😃
Excellent video, excellent car. I had a 64 Iris Blue currently a 63 Tartan Red. Have also owned a 69 MGC GT Mineral Blue, bought in 1970 with 12 K miles on the clock.
What, no flat cap?
It came off in the wind. :)
The music suits it.
Larry Adler, one of a kind.
Not only did he play this tune, I believe he wrote the music.
Great channel. Looking forward to seeing more from you. Why aren’t you using PromoSM?! You should use it to promote your videos!
Thank you but I have no idea what PromoSM is!
Great simple sports cars, which give you a lot of fun. In the past I've owned a 63 Iris Blue roadster, Mineral blue 67 roadster, 67 Sandy Beige GT, 69 MGC GT (Downton tuned) and lastly a 73 Mineral Blue GT which had been converted into a V8 by a retired RAF jet pilot who had owned it for 27 years! The C and V8 were owned when I lived in UK, the earlier cars in Australia. What is the name of the pub in the film?
It's the Gunton Arms in Norfolk. My (far too) local!
Nice to see original disc wheels !
My girlfriend now wife had a white 64 roadster....I drove a white 66 BGT.. our buddy drove a white GT6. We had alot of fun on backroads of Ontario.
Menage a trois ?

Yes, those are the best colors for an MGB. Lovely.
Looking forward to Part 2: The Drive Home
