@@Logans_RCAdventures If it makes you feel better, they perform exactly the way the 1/10 kit I built in 1988, and for back in the day, that was a kick ass RC, They had the same issues then, so they perfected an identical replica.

If I'm being totally honest, I just got lucky and it worked first try when I hooked it to a modern servo board. One thing I do remember is that I didn't use the blue wire. The steering is proportional with my jerryrig setup, however there is a massive amount of play in the steering before the servo horn even actives the turning. I'll see if I can find out what I did based on the video, because I am currently filming a new video on it and it's all dirty. Update you soon

After the video I went ahead and added a custom shocktower that is beefed up in every single way. I'm currently working on a mid mounted battery holder. But during the test it was bone stock. I have the part listed on cults for .85 if you want to buy it.

@@Logans_RCAdventures yo tengo una Pick up Nikko Scorpion amarillo es un auto muy caro por ser de los mas buscados por coleccionistas el mio lo mantengo %100 original con su control remoto no es muy rapido la unica manera es cambiarle la electronica cosa que no recomiendo, porque pierde todo su valor la ventaja que yo tengo muchas veces 2 ejemplares de cada modelo uno lo modifico y el otro lo dejo en original. Los motores antiguos no tenian escobillas de carbono y tuxteno sino que eran simples clips de aluminio y por la friccion se dañaban por eso hay que cambiarlos por motores mas modernos eso implica tener repuestos de todo tipo de autos, y el otro punto es que no se deben usar pilas moderna de Li-On ni de LiPo ni de Litio en coches con electronica antigua porqué se queman, la electronica antigua debe usar pilas NiCd o NiMh o NiFe porque estas pilas nunca aumentan su voltaje a maxima velocidad y fueron pensadas para la electronica de los 1990 la cual no tiene protección para aumentos repentinos de voltaje que producen la pilas Lipo.

Con todos mis autos RadioShack antiguos he estado usando baterías de Li-Ion, por lo que ese podría ser el problema. Es realmente genial que tengas dos de cada auto, eso probablemente te da mucha libertad. ¿Cuál es la velocidad más rápida a la que has llegado con uno de estos autos antiguos?

​@@user-cq9il7sq1yDefinitivamente estoy de acuerdo contigo Carlos. A veces el coche es simplemente chatarra. Sólo me he encontrado con ese problema una vez antes. Los ejes de transmisión de hueso de perro de mi cochecito simplemente desgastan los pequeños pasadores del extremo. Salté muy alto antes (el primer clip de mi introducción más reciente) y rompió el hueso del perro cuando aterrizó.

​@NotSure875 I can definitely understand why the Nikko wouldn't be fun without 4WD. It struggles on fairly easy terrain as is. That's a funny story of the Jeep. Must've been scary when the driveshaft ejected on the highway

It definitely works and it’s way cheaper than buying brass headlock wheels. I tested these wheels against stock and RC4WD for an upcoming video and they did really good considering that I’m running $8 tires.

If it would have went upside down we never would have seen it again. All of my cables are corroded beyond belief though.

@Logan's RCAdventures That's not an RC4WD truck from 15 years ago either lol. That was their shitty portals that broke on that flat garage floor. They scammed me $300 for those, then told me to make a video and then ghosted me after I did lol. That truck itself was a fully custom built CFNN with extended links, 7+ inch tires, superclass motor on axle build, which at the time, was the best there was. Today I'm working on my fully custom built LCG crawler with all Vanquish trans, axles, and other parts. Also have to put the 2600oz servo on my SCX6 here soon, haven't had time. But yeah, you want to call SBG's stuff crappy, but you don't like it when someone calls your stuff crappy. That's pretty crappy of you. 👌

I never called them crappy though. I just said the gen8 is probably better. Now that you mention you modded the crap out of your truck I get where your coming from. I wasn’t insulting SBG I actually highly respect him. I’m just not sure why you would just comment that my gen8 is bad. I get it’s not the best out there, I was just impressed it didn’t roll over on the side hills. I don’t have the money to upgrade the gen8 right now, so obviously your highly modified comp crawler will be better then my stock gen8.

They are also really fun to film and edit.

Never ever stop putting out videos. I had many low spots where almost nobody watched the video but I pushed through. Success will come with perseverance.
