Letting go of my 2005 LS430 UL is one of my biggest car regrets, it's up there with my E39 M5 and 1995 Acura Legend coupe. My dad would make fun of the LS430 calling it a retirees car. What do I do, I go get the LS460 FSPORT. It's a pile of poo compared to my LS430, nothing cost under $1000 to repair, I have 0 mechanical ability so I gotta pay and it sucks. If I wasn't in an all out war with my HOA and I had the space, I'd get another LS430

The problem with the LS430 is that the secondary computer goes out and they're impossible to find. When it happened to mine a few years ago, there were only like 3 on the used market... anywhere in the US. And then the equipment to install it and set it correctly was so expensive that only the dealers have it. You'll spend almost as much as you spent on the car.

Videos like these are why owners of are now asking $7000+ for 250k mile, clapped-out models with no service history, and ragged-out interiors. These cars are NOT as bulletproof as people make them out to be. The transmissions, especially the later 6-speed models, are notorious for being unreliable if not RELIGOUSLY maintained, which most are not. I've owned both a 2002 and 2006 and while they are great cars, they are extremely picky and finicky if you do not treat them right. You have to follow the maintenance schedules to a T, which most owners selling these have not. In the last two years alone I have spent well over $10000 just on preventative maintenance, ranging from suspension, drivetrain, and general servicing. I also paid to have a beefy transmission cooler installed because these cars WILL burn up the torque converter. If you can afford the work or are mechanically inclined and can do the work yourself, these cars are amazing to own and drive. But if you are a broke teenager or young adult, please stay away.

Love the LS430's. I currently own a 2002 ES 300 with 184k miles (I'm the 2nd owner). The 4th gen ES's 2002-2006 is 2nd in build quality to these LS430's. The 600k mile restoration one on the Car Care Nuts channel is awesome. Level of quality is phenomenal. The rims on this one is perfect. If i buy one of these, i would it leave it bone stock.

This news makes me immensely happy. I was one of the first people to pre-order their porsche turbo s wheel. One of the first wheels for Xbox at the time. It lasted 1 week. After emailing and trying to call numerous times, I've never heard a peep from fanatec. That was 14 years ago. Screw you fanatec.

I have LS 430 2003 LEXUS I bought in brand new. I have 150,000 miles and still runs great.

Mines is an 02 platinum blue metallic with gold emblems and gray interior with navigation. Havent seen another ls430 same color as mines on the road yet. 171k miles.

Great video!!! These are still the sharpest on the road in my opinion. Love the boxy and the 05/06 is my favorite year. The interior tan had more of a brown tint than the bone. I have the LS460L and these are such amazing vehicles. This was when they stood out. Now everything looks the same.

I bought a California since new (Santa Clarita area dealership) car from the original owner, who happens to be my friend. It was driven back and forth to the Hospital where the good doctor then drove home and parked it the garage for I think 23 years and 147,300 miles making me the second owner last year. It's 2005, LS430 in white with tan interior, Modern Luxury package. So its middle of the road as far as packages go. Clean car fax and paint and body, and interior are beautiful original condition. I have all the service books and service records, and first aid kit, and tool box! And yes, I have all three keys! One is a Valet key. My friend was offered $1000.00 dollars on it for his trade in for the new Audi A6! When he told me the story he said he brought home from the Audi dealer and now had it up on the internet for $6,500.00. And had no bites yet. So, I asked him if he would sell it to me? It's a beautiful car and one that I could not afford back in 2005 for over 65,000 thousand dollars I think the window sticker says! He responded to my text with some pictures and said sure, how does $2,500 sound! Yikes! I have put some new factory chrome Lexus 18 inch rims back on it replacing the somewhat curb rash original ones with the same. I would put those back on your car as well, Sir. The look so amazing! I'm a very big of factory original parts and keeping factory original look too! I did see that CZcams on the Black Lexus LS430 with the custom rims that you mentioned. Not my cup of tea. Here's a top tip for you sir, and ALL Lexus owners out there needing factory original warrantied parts. I buy them online from Lexusstevenscreek.com. Great pricing and free shipping I think on orders over $150.00 bucks. They super responsive! I loved the new material on the LS430 car sir, and I am now a Subscriber!

I'm 29 years old and I just got a 2006 Lexus LS 430 for under $10K a week ago. It has just under 250K miles on it and it runs like new yes it has cosmetic damage and other minor issues but that wasn't a deal breaker. This was a one owner LS 430 with all 4 Michelin tires country club stickers and even spare golf tees in the trunk. The previous owner even kept the window sticker !! This is one of the cars I've always wanted This is my 3rd Lexus I have bought. In the past I bought a 2006 GS 300, a 2005 ES 330. The next two I would like to have is an GX or LX and the SC 430

It's a sweet sedan. When it first came out it was priced high and looked like an S- class Merc and I was a bit skeptical about it. However, I came around. I'd put some BBS 3 piece mesh wheels and tint on it and keep it moving. 😀

I'm glad I bought my '06 before these started catching on. Mine's lightly lowered/spaced on the oem chrome 18" 5-spokes, and has the exact same exhaust setup as the black one showed at 1:53. I absolutely love my LS430, and I don't plan on selling it anytime soon.
