    Hello Ayan, You have been really helpful to me since you started this channel. I have a question regarding the choice of A-Level subjects. I've now settled on 3 subjects (Biology, Physics, and Mathematics) for a quite long time, but I realised that the university degree I want to get requires me to study Chemistry. However, Little to no students in our school take 4 subjects, and I am scared to take the 4-subject-path; as I am not confident enough whether I will be able to manage 4 A-level subjects or not, and it would be SO helpful if you have any advice regrading this, Thank you

    • @ahyankhan9860
      @ahyankhan9860 Před měsícem

      Pretty common dilemma a lot of people have, I have a couple friends who took 4 subjects; physics maths chemistry and biology. Honestly, It’s doable, the only downside is you’re gonna have to lock in from day one and stay consistent. If people with 3 subjects put in 2 hours a day you might need to put in 2 & a half. But it’s doable if you use the correct study & productivity techniques and actually do your best to focus, I think there’s a high chance of you properly managing all 4 subjects. Also what course will you take in Uni? Perhaps you can drop one of your main subjects and replace it with chem?

    • @hamzatech4849
      @hamzatech4849 Před měsícem

      @ahyankhan9860 I am going to study engineering (for sure), mostly Biomedical Engineering; However, I might change to another field of engineering in the coming few years, so I can't risk removing any subject now (I am able to drop one in A2 later on though)

    • @hamzatech4849

    Hi Ahyan, i had a question about MS related to IGCSE. If our answer consists of some keywords of the sentence in the Marking scheme but in a different wording. For eg... counts as the same thing, important thing is keyword, if you’re keyword is there when describing, doesn’t matter how you structure your answer as long as it’s appropriate. But just to be safe try to phrase your answers how the marking scheme might structure it for your safety.

      After school, depends when your school ends, but I'd recommened if you can get 1-2 hours of work done that is more than enough. Yes, lock in from day one but don't go & pull all nighters, not worth it. Get 7-8 hours of sleep all night, first I think focus on your variant whether thats 1,2 or 3 & when you've finished your variant you can do the others since others have a different question pattern, only do them after you've finished your variant for all session for at least the last 5-6 years.

    • @ahyankhan9860
      @ahyankhan9860 Před 2 měsíci

      Yeah so note taking in itself is inefficient if you do it passively, what i’d personally do is first understand the topic conceptually (by watching videos and using textbooks) and then make flash cards of it ~ you can take notes but it’s a bit time consuming and ineffective. Besides you can refer to the notes you take in class later on if you need to.

    • @ahyankhan9860
      @ahyankhan9860 Před 2 měsíci
