    Just as the trans national open borders capitalist class, and their dysfunctional corrupted relationship with the tory party needs taming, so the symbiotic relationship of labour party and unions needed taming 50 years ago. Its a great shame the white paper wasnt taken further into legislation and necessary reforms carried out. heath was elected in 1970 promising to deal with the unions, but once safely in number 10, reverted back to his sole obsession, joining the eec. thatcher and tebbit were left to do the job of union taming 10 years later, with far more brutal and long lasting results felt right up until the present day. If old labour had actually reformed their working relationship with the unions ie stopped being joined at the hip financially and at their whim and fancy politically, and agreed a degree of responsible political control, then thatcherism (and balir toryism) may well have never even happened
