Josh lived down the street from where we rehearsed for years in Box Hill at our drummer Todd’s house. Josh was always really cool to me and I felt like a fanboy watching you cats play which is not usually my style 😎🤩😎

I always thought it was funny that you guys played RUSH caliber songs yet this was always the crowd favorite for sure. Tells you what a catchy hook can do…😂🤘🤘

Hey Scott !!!! Thanks for chiming in on these posts. I saw DREAMSEED several times in my teen years and was (and still am) a big fan. Josh’s sister Sarah made me a tape when I was about 13 or 14 of the earlier stuff. That’s why the recordings are a little hissy because I listened to it so much. I doctored it up the best I could. I later purchased the “GlassWorld” tape when you guys finished it up and love that one as well. Saw you guys perform multiple times, the first being at the Box Hill Barn in 1993 I believe. All you guys were really talented. You also recorded my first songs that I ever wrote in the basement of your parent’s house. I was in a group called MACGREGOR’S ENGINE. Those two songs “Freight Train” and “Down the River” are unfortunately lost in obscurity unless you have them. I’m now a professional music publisher with several projects that I perform in and produce. I was going through an old box of tapes in my archives and came across your tapes. Figured the world would love to hear this rocking band from Bel Air !!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

No problem! Not sure how many people were able to get one of these cd’s. It was a demo but it was mixed at Wrightway Studios in Baltimore where Darren would get all our stuff mixed after tracking it at his house so the recording quality is superb. 👌 Glad you can enjoy it.

Not sure. Recently found this tape in an old guitar case. A guy named Charlie gave it to us many many years ago and claimed to have played drums and sang on the recordings. Charlie died a long time ago so I can’t confirm or deny it. Who ever it is, they are pretty rippin! I do know that. 🎸👍

​​@@nickhammersonrocksit sounds like Jeff Beck. Certainly in the way he builds up intensity. However my instrument is the trumpet not el. guitar so I may missing something here. Certainly a guitarist would tell us a few more things about it

@@user-vw1vf5cw7d I agree. It certainly sounds like Jeff Beck. Keep rocking that trumpet!! I’ve tried playing an old one that I have and it’s the hardest instrument I’ve ever tried.

@@nickhammersonrocks you need to create a muscle mask on your lips to be able to play properly. The most difficult thing is to maintain this mask. I figured out that I need at least 20 minutes of practice each day just to barely keep my lips in shape and it I go out completely I need a two month period of two hours per day to get back in shape. Professional players essentially they are not doing anything else in their lives than practice and performing

@@nickhammersonrocks old instruments are not ideal for beginners. You have seen e.g. Chris botti to play so well with his thirties trumpet, but older instruments are in general more temperamental and need more skill

I DIDN’T TEST DRIVE ANY GLADIATORS WITH THE CLOTH SEATS BECAUSE I SPILL COFFEE CONSTANTLY IN THE CAB SO I KNEW I NEEDED THE LEATHER !!!!😂
