Hi im John Follow me as a class 1 truck driver i passed my HGV Class 2 on the 17th of July 2018 and started my career on the 1st of September 2018 and furthered my Career by passing my Class 1 HGV in September 2020, Though I am relatively new to HGV driving I am not new to the transport industry as I have previously been a van driver for nearly 13 years and my Father has been a truck driver since the Mid 70's and is still going now even though he is in his 70's , follow me all over the UK as I make my deliveries and collections

If you have XL curtains, do you still need to secure like this?
I really need to do another video and explain a bit more internal straps are good for pallets no more than 400 kg you still need to strap with XL curtains as curtains are classed as load containment not load security

Good to see some places still have traditional carnivals, I used to build floats years ago but we haven’t had any carnival processions for many years now with health and safety being used as a reason by some. Great video and hopefully some cash raised for charity.

Hopefully your truck didn't spray water at the people or coolant. I mean if it's water who cares but coolant i don;t know about that. Also did you secure your load before driving?? 😂😂 Also, have you taken your breaks after your 4.5 hr driving?? 😊😊
No brakes required only drove for 90 minutes and "worked" for 5 hours

Believe it or not I live a couple of miles from the delivery point in Irvine (pronounced Ir-vin) On the motorway just before you arrived, you would pass by about 200 yards (whatever in metres) from my house!! This is a very familiar landscape.. Think I need to do some binge viewing now👍👍
