You are probably getting a #SPILL! errror because there is a value somewhere below your formula. Since the FILTER function returns an array of values that spill out of the cell with the formula into the other cells aroundnit, you will get an error if there is anything in a those cells to begin with. Hopefully this helps!

Unfortunately, without the HSTACK function, you will have to manually setup the references for each cell. For example, in cell C5 on the Calculations tab, the reference should be: =JAN!AI12 I hope this helps.

Gotcha! Unfortunately, it would not be easy to set the spreadsheet up in a way where you can type the information directly into the cells below each date, and then have these cells also change when you change the dates. It might be possible to build something like this through the implementation of Google Apps Script, but doing something like this is a little beyond the scope of the videos I'd like to create for this channel, at least at this time. I try my best to keep the videos balanced between beginner friendly and also complex enough so even seasoned spreadsheet users can learn new things too. I hope this all makes sense, and I'm sorry that I can't provide the exact solution you are looking for.

Yes, you can do this by selecting the data, and then go to Data > Create a Filter. You can then use the filter buttons to filter your data. I hope this helps.

Yes, there are a few things you can do. You can always hide the columns that contain the source data. The formulas will still work. You can also store the source data on a different worksheet tab, and then hide that worksheet. Let me know if either suggestion helps.

How strange. Are you storing your events in the Events tab? Or are you typing them directly into the calendar? The events must be stored in the Events tab only. I hope this helps.

Hi there! So this build will work with any version that is Excel 2013 or later. So it's pretty backwards compatible. However, it's not designed for Google Sheets. I just pressed the F4 key on my keyboard. Depending on your keyboard, F4 may share a key with something else. You might have to press the Fn key plus the shared key that contains F4. I hope this helps. 😊
