I bought my lab a K9 harness, the bottom hook was the one I used but it started to get loose so I used the upper but didn't like it as much. I actually until I got a replacement used 2 leashes and twisted them together to walk him with both metal rings in case the bottom loosened more. . I realized I liked using both. This will make it much easier when I get the new harness.

So if a dog has been out a bit in the heat and panted, then after a few minutes returned acting normally, eating and playing. There isn't reason to worry for heat stroke?

i just moved to a hot climate with my dog - the pavement is getting hot and wanted to protect his paws. He is very skittish and i thought i'd have little chance of him walking normal with boots on - i watched this video and just got done with the front paws for 5 minutes walking him inside while giving him treats - within that 5 minutes - it was like he forgot they were on. The distractions and only putting them on the front paws first was the ticket.

I have a rescue dog that gets treated well. I’ve had him for one week. He’s a fence climber and I’ve had one before who I never needed a fence with after we bonded. This dog however, climbs and escapes just because he can then comes home when he’s finished. I learnt he started on a farm that had no fences and would go off wandering around the town socialising. Well… where I come from that is not tolerated. You can’t let a dog wander around town here and jump fences. It’s costs lots of money to get a dog out of jail. So what do you suggest? Let him do whatever the hell he pleases? Dogs are domesticated animals and they need to know their boundaries not be allowed to do what they please! I’d like to add I’m Very in tune with animals and this dog is pushing too many boundaries. I’m His last hope as a foster parent. Im trying to fix the mistakes others have made with this dog. Dogs are pack animals and if you don’t establish leadership they go rogue. Like this ex convict. I’d like to add his dog also gets rough in play as well and bites hard. No boundaries and dominance is not good in a dog that’s on his last chance.

Great review, short and informative. This is exactly what I need for my 3 yr old Alaskan Husky. She was a rescue dog who kept getting returned to the shelter (for some reason) until I came along. She is a genuine Houdini escape artist, she got away from me 3 times in the first 24 hours, a different technique every time. She even jumped across me from the back of the car and out the drivers door that was only open about 12 inches at the time. I live on the edge of Superior National Forest and I camp and hike a lot where there is no cell service at all. My dog will be in the water a lot so the IP67 Waterproof rating is important to me as well. She really is a sweet dog, she did very well in dog obedience training, except for the part about remembering her name when I call her. Shortly after I got her she dug a hole under the fence and got out so I put one of her turds in the hole, and she's not done that again, so she's trainable. I may get a training collar someday, for right now being able to track her down is more important but I will probably end up getting both. I saw this device on Amzn first and came over here to see some reviews, I will use your link when I make the purchase. Thanks!

As soon as subscription was mentioned, i decided it's not for me, i have a security camera that does everything this does apart from tossing a treat it cost £20 with no subscription unless you want the cloud, but it records to a card that i can access on my phone. It also has the talk capability.

Will this still help me to track my dog if he passes over the virtual fence? If so how far can it still track my dog pass the virtual fence? Im new to this and i just want something that will tell me where my dog is if he runs away. I doubt he will care about passing some virtual fence.

At over $100, no. That's $10 worth of material, and my one eyed grandma could have sewn something like this together in 17 minutes. These jackets are worth half of what they're being sold for. I could not be happier with my $20 Amazon dogs raincoat.
