In the past few months my CZcams feed is flooded with the same guys re-playing each other's posts, creating "new" videos with bad talk show clips from 2014 and being boring. I am pushing away the vultures to entertain you and maybe help a few people. There is a website I am working on as well as a new 00 CZcams channel. Hey baby, I'm serious!

PAIUL MCCARTNEY NEW "GIRLFRIEND" DEMO! Enhanced by RBennett

The Piano Tape is an unreleased demo recording by Paul McCartney in the 1970's. Girlfriend would appear on the London Town album and later covered by Michael Jackson. I added loads of reverb and high end as well as two separate tracks of audio to give it ambience and a larger... Wingspan! Photos available on the Internet, have all been re-colored and cropped. This is the way I have always heard...

Fantastic, good job!!!
Ahhh this means so much thank you! The next one may be a few minutes longer, the wheels are spinning.
The show the very next night is better in Frankfurt Germany
"That's the one innit!" I also have a fondness for the final show in Berlin - where Bonham speeds the hell up on Trampled Underfoot! but revealing Led Zep were also the best FUNK band in 1980... and not just because the others had given in to disco by then.
Is this spectral?
No
@@amess0stuff89 What did you do?
@@alanrogs3990 Simply added a bit of reverb then used the "Ultra Low End" mix I told myself was too low ended! Did not compare to anything - it was how I imagined it would sound.
@@amess0stuff89 Nice. Imagine what AI will do with this stuff in the very near future.
@@alanrogs3990 Thanks, it would be easy for AI to duplicate however I think being AI it would over-do it!

Yep, the cops showed up!
I was fortunate enough to see these British rock gods in the u.s. in the 70's
Amazing! I was too young for that insane audience... Zep had that energy
Brandy & Coke !
I spent the last 20 minutes looking for the early mix of TU which was (was) all over CZcams the past 15 years. Gone! It's Brandy and Coke without the over-compression. Robert's double tracked vocals more spread out and the overall mix is pretty damn vibrant! Look for "Physically Present" however NOT on lost.fm which is just annoying WIX ads. Also the Custard Pie early mix I prefer to the PG version. It's there. down one rabbit hole or another.
OK . Just jumped on CZcams 12 hours later and what pops up but the "Zeppelin Bootlegs" channel with a boot titled "Brutal Artistry"! Best stuff is near the end. I had never heard Robert's clean take of The Wanton Song - and how the hell did a radio station have a copy? Stolen from Jimmy while in tour... The Jimmy&Bonzo Kashmir take purely hypnotic (and the frantic bass added by Jimmy).
TU got better with each tour.
Great point! It's what fascinates me about this tour, it sounds as if "OK boys this may be the last one" .
"stand still, its safer!" Gotta love robert plant!
"Stand Still Will Ya." - Pink Floyd - The Wall

I really love that - there may have been something else but I made a tight edit of the talking and pauses

clickbait.
Fact-bait, You're gonna cry?
Good version some of the 1980 tour are really good Bremen Berlin pages best
Yes! He really gave it his all on the last gig. My only 2 questions in all this is what the US 1980 setlist was looking like? And there's something about "Walter's Walk" that sounds nothing like a 1972 session.
LOVED Jimmy's tone for what was their last "tour".... Robert's voice was slammin'..... oh well.
It's as if he switched his toggle switch to a more mid-range! As for Robert, incredible and I wonder if he were abstaining from a certain something... for a while? BTW I have a feeling Robert has been writing his autobiography. He has always says no, but he knows he is an amazing storyteller.
"I will go if you don't shut up." Classic.
Wow, an ad right in the middle of the groove. How considerate.
Really? Thanks to the CZcams scumbags. We get no $ from the ads as it is. No surprises here!

Yeah, it was a buzzing crowd of young un's! I was young as well but walking up on what I even thought of as "kids" was a shock. To me it was "C'mon! Rock is serious" lol!
Thank you for the amazing compliment and the waffle cutting did not come too soon! Page was out of it at times but never unaware of exactly what he was playing - or at least the mood he was trying to achieve,

So being a businessman comes first before and artist and performer evidently.......Right?
If the business pertains to the future of your family, your legacy and your very own work, yes. I've always said the first red cent you earn as an artist makes you a sell out. We all need to survive.
The 90’s were fun
Right!
Great work & many thanks for putting this up! Didn't they unofficially/within the band dub this the "Cut the Waffle" tour? 'Cause this one clocks in pretty close to a lot of the '75 versions--not a complaint mind you--as I love the way Page starts his solo out, and those cool descending lines from 4:10-4:18...!...very "Achilles" like...most enjoyable!
Very much appreciated, thanks! The Waffles (ha) were probably the longer solos (no OTTP for Bonzo, probably at his request).
I was 17 in 1983. Not a single camera in the crowd (except for the one that filmed this). They're actually experiencing the moment.
ESPECTACULAR !!!!! GRACIAS !!!! THANKYOU!!!!!
Wonderful comment, thanks! The last thing I expected were such amazing comments!
☠️🧱🧟♂️🕯💦🌬🌐🩵
Absolutely love this track, I think the version on How The West Was Won I believe it was taken from Earls Court 25th May 1975, is my favourite, Jimmy looks absolutely mezmerized.
Thanks! Jimmy is so at ease - but focused - on the Earl's Court video but Bonham seems a bit too out of it and overcompensates endlessly. Hometown gig, he probably just wanted to get home!
Why?
Because I felt like it.
This was near the end of touring, but they still could kill it. If they just chilled for a year or 2 and Jimmy and John sobered up, they would have dominated the 1980s as well.
John was never going to sober up unless he knew he was home to stay. I think the 1980 American tour would have ended in disaster or at a few bad moods. Peter Grant was waning and with Richard Cole on the outs, it was the first time there would be no *hands on* security. Cole did a lot more than security, now that too was lost. The Vultures Are Circling Tour.
Once John died, the creative force that was "Led Zeppelin" was no more. It took me awhile to realize that. But I believe it 100% now.
Not sure if it's my imagination but Bonham seems to gradually speed up during this song.
Yep! He would do that once he started getting tired. I have a boot from 1977 when he completely stops Trampled Underfoot with a 10 snare roll and Boom! Hey Jimmy!? They pick it up only to end it properly, lol
@@amess0stuff89 would like to hear that! do you know the date of that boot?
@@ellebrook3413 Elle, hi! Not sure of the date but just checked the LA Forum posts and although there is a show where Bonzo attempts an interruption, Jimmy carries on, ha. I am also remembering this as a faster run of the song.
@amess0stuff89 thanks for checking, so many boots of so many shows, probably pretty hard to pinpoint one moment! I do enjoy little incidents like that tho :)
@@ellebrook3413 Thank you for watching! And yeah I love these shows, these time bubbles the band never expected to be aired in 1977 much less 1,000 years later. And though it's hard for many people to understand, look at a Jimmy Page interview even in recent years you find him very open, laughing at the indulgences. Because again, it was just 3 blurry hours in 1977.
This is a real highlight of the 80’ tour. Other shows/ songs usually weren’t as amazing. Jimmy is still #1 guitar hero, at least here.
I happened to notice this performance was a standout, as well as Black Dog from the same show. People knock this tour but after Knebworth but why continue with the same set? I still think USA 1980 would open with TSRTS because people would freak out at Trian Kept A Rollin.
June 30th 1980 is the best show of that whole tour@@amess0stuff89
@@amess0stuff89the setlist would have stayed practically the same no more Moby Dick no more song remains the same no more dazed and confused
@@RoyPage1970 Yes, although I wonder about TSRTS, a bombastic fan fave. After seeing some of the comments here I'm thinking Rock and Roll as the opener. The 1980 set was probably undecided in the end.
Oh man!!! Im in love...have been all my life!
Awww amazing comment thank YOU! There are so many highlights from this tour, and the same wheels were falling off during every show from 1973 ;til the end. If you are a McCartney fan, I just enhanced a rarely heard demo called "Girlfriend", posted last night!

Thank you! Me as well, for too many reasons
Incredible stuff! Have you tried demixing the audio with machine learning? I know there's some algorithms that could help remove some of the loud hiss. Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you, much appreciated, and I ran it through one or two audio devices and finally this mix as I was running out of time (according to me anyway). There are a dozen changes in the recorded audio so it was piece by piece. There are one or two "Paul banging the table for emphasis" I could not get rid of, ha. I have more plans for this, thanks for the suggestion!
I always wonder what the American Tour would have been like. Through the years Jimmy & Robert have said that the setlist would be much different than the Europe leg that they did. They mentioned a few songs that they were gonna drop and a few that would have been included. A shame. What was bothering Bonzo so much where he had to drink 40 shots of Vodka?
Guilt and paranoia at being an out of control thug maybe. Terror at going back on the road in the States and all that it would entail? Nobody knows. It doesn’t really add up. As with Bon Scott the official version may not hold up to scrutiny. A lot of heroin going around London. Maybe the guy that did the pathology report was told “you didn’t see anything but alcohol” by Grant.
@@TwotontessieOh STFU with your badly-expressed conspiracies, speculations & quarter-truths. As is well known to any Zepp follower Bonzo was a family man and really just wanted to get back to his family when touring, that's all there was to it
@@Twotontessie The key is in a comment made by Peter, it's out there. but I'm not repeating it because it's a new can o' worms. Bonzo was not paranoid, terrified or guilty, just pissed off. My feeling is everyone in Zep aside from Jimmy figured "We made our money can we just stop touring the US?". As for Bon, it catches up! BTW I'm sure "You Shook Me All Night Long" was entirely written by Bon, simply it's the only clever lyric on Back In Black!
He always drank 40 shots! A friend is good mates with one of the people who put John to bed that night. They told the friend "It was like every other night on tour, no difference".
Carouselambra to replace ALS I would hope!!
Thanks but it’s a shame you didn’t run this through a basic hiss filter and nuke all that hiss. It wouldn’t have impacted the talking at all, just taken the noise off.
Wow fascinating stuff
Thank yooooou!
Fuck me, this is an unbelievable recording. Where's the rest of it and is there a download for it?
Thank you! I merely added reverb, some phasing for ,,,,I dunno why... Also added the ultra low end sound which I at first decided against. The original audio is easy to find on CZcams "Led Zeppelin live in Zurich, Switzerland June 29. 1980". I may work on another song. It takes a lot of time!
@@amess0stuff89Well keep at it! I'd love to see a complete show like this available. Keep us posted. 👍
@@maxcohen13 Thanks! I have a lot of Zep boots I should clean up. It's a helluva lot of time and with hardly any donations, nearly impossible. Stay tuned though, I am adding unheard Rock radio interviews and appearances soon! We all want that LedZep concert box but Jimmy Page tends to go on tangents. One week it's a Recording Led Zeppelin book, the next week is the Japan 1971 tapes...
A few songs showed up on a BBC broadcast back in 97 sibly and Achilles
I listened to this like 10 times the week
Amazing, thanks so much! Yeah, I put on headphones to maybe hear a certain part and listen to the whole thing for the 1,000th time.
And there is nothing that even comes close to them……..Sept.25, 1980 is a horrible day in history. Can you imagine what other great music these guys could’ve made together?
@@user-yq7pb4ef6g I wonder. Jimmy planned a harder edge rock album after the 1980 US tour but looking ahead I cannot imagine that tour going smoothly. Ha, I just wrote another paragraph then decided to blog it instead! I may as well be another "Rock stories doood" but my facts will be solid.
This is fascinating. Thank you for posting. I recently read Philip Norman's George bio which is very detailed on how George's attorney, Denis O'Brien (who I believe is the Denis that is mentioned here) swindled George so badly. Sadly ironic to see that George felt Paul had ulterior motives in his business dealings when it was Denis who almost bankrupted him.
I had no idea! Thanks for posting! it seemed Denis was either lawyer or manager and you wonder if the ulterior motive caution came from Denis? I remember going back to put quick emphasis on the dismissive "Denis..." comment from Linda. She was right!

Yes, the American tour was selling out when it all ended. There is speculation as to what the US '80 set would have been... My guess is The Song Remains The Same (the big stadium opener), In The Evening and Nobody's Fault But Mine... after that I dunno!
