Syncopalooza SD 480p
I started writing this piece (on my iPad Plus in the app Symphony Pro 6 using my Apple Pencil) with the musical equivalent of a doodle - a couple of stray notes in the pickup bar of an empty set of staves. This somehow suggested to me a repetitive striding bass line, which in turn led me to a treble line that was not melodic & was mostly syncopated. Partway through the process of composing, the title Syncopalooza came to me… & it don’t need no steenkin’ subtitle! Symphony Pro 6 prepared the score & generated the audio output.
Once I was satisfied that I should stick a fork in it, I transferred it to my MacBook Pro, where the video was prepared in iMovie.

My Canzone Dolce Napolitana whetted my appetite for Neapolitan song. Having decided to try writing another song, I settled on one of my favorite topics, the moon, as its subject. Quite soon I realized that this would be more in the nature of lieder than popular song. You the ELF couldn't succeed in securing a united leadership and once EPLF united with their Christian brethren the TLF and hit you hard you crossed the border to the Sudan never to reorganize again. That's a history both ELF and EPLF should be ashamed of. EPLF uniting with TLF on the basis of religion was a national betrayal and ELF puting leadership power aspirations before a national cause was selfishness and their inability to reorganize under a united leadership and fight back is an excellent example of a terrible failure. This statement is going to be disturbing to both EPLF and ELF as well as Eritrean Christian and Muslims but it's historical fact and truth should be told.
