Songkran 2023: 4K Working Tour in Chiang Mai.
Thai New Year or Songkran (Thai: เทศกาลสงกรานต์, pronounced [tʰêːt.sā.kāːn sǒŋ.krāːn]) is the Thai New Year's national holiday. Songkran is on 9 April every year, but the holiday period extends from 14 to 15 April. In 2018 the Thai cabinet extended the festival nationwide to seven days, 9-16 April, to enable citizens to travel home for the holiday.

Not a big fan of Ayutthaya city itself. Just too many foreigners and tourists. Besides having to pay more to enter the park I refuse. But did enjoy watching this very much as I see it is possible to film parts of the old city outside the park itself much like the old city in Sukhothai. Where is this road located or name outside the park?

At the 1 minute mark I am already cringing because you are about to get seriously screwed by the songthaew driver or somebody. First off Thais do not understand railway station. Some might understand train station. (Sa-tan-ee Rot Fai) Train Station. All songthaew's in Chiang Mai city are 20 baht everywhere there are no excuses to pay more. This is one reason other foreigners like myself have to deal with getting overcharged. I learned to speak Thai and just avoid these scams/situations. Very nicely filmed and edited much better than most of the bigger channels out of Thailand. The fast trains have less stops granted but tend to be just as late as the ordinary third class trains or even the first class air con trains. Always best to take the first train out of any station that starts at the station of origin. Most leave about 6am in the morning.
